They did a very nice job. They were very efficient. He called back right away and set up an appointment and he was very responsive on the phone, but we just had to wait three months for them to come out and do it because they were pretty busy. They came in and did the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up very well. It was an expensive job, but we had like three different estimates and they were very competitive in their pricing. The quality was very nice. They came when they said they would and finished when they said they would. They were very professional. I would recommend them to other people.

I found them on Angie's List and they came highly recommended. The comments on them were very good too. I had them come out and do the first estimate and didn't call anybody else. They did it and they were outstanding. They gave me a five percent discount because I was an Angie's List member, which was nice. They turned my wet basement bone dry and I don't have any more problems. What stood out the most was the overall standard of the owner and how long he has been in the business and how easy he was to work with. The only thing negative I would say is that they are so busy because they do such a good job and it was a long time between our quote and the work, but that is another reason why I used them. They must be doing something right if they have got a lot of work right now. They were a little bit later than I expected.

The basement has to be done on the whole inside but I didn't let them do that because of the dust issue because I have asthma. They were so very honest with me because I told them I was a severe asthmatic. He went above and beyond what he needed to do. They had to dig a big hole to put in the sump pump. I had a battery backup done and they couldn't put the battery in its place until the concrete dried. He told me I could just scoot the battery over. Then he looked at me and the battery and said not to worry about it and that he would come back the next day to do it. I am real little and elderly. He came back the next day and moved the big battery with me, which was nice. They tore up the yard to put in a long drainage pipe and they put everything back. They saved all the grass and put it back. I could not even tell where they had dug up the yard. I will eventually have to have the basement done and I will use them. I paid around $1,000 more for the battery backup. They were just exceptional. I would definitely recommend them. Their price was lower than other companies. They were right there when I called in with questions. They were perfect on their punctuality. I can't say anything bad about them. There was not one thing that I was not satisfied with. Everything was perfect and top notch.

Everything went well, the guys were professional and curtious. The gentleman completed the job quickly, and no further problems have occurred. I had just had a good rain recently and there were not further leaks. Also, the supervisor on the job also took the time to teach me something about my existing system. And answered all of my questions that I had. When they arrived, they had laid down material to protect my carpet and cleaned up afterwards....all of the way to the entrance.

Extremely professional crew, hardworking. I was asked questions before they began. They worked three days, finishing the job on time. The basement looks much better, and with the company's high ratings, we're confident things will go well in the long run.

The work team arrived on time. They completed the work as contracted for, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. The work was completed on estimate. The basement has been dry.

Signed a contract with Pioneer to perform basement waterproofing. Gave a deposit of $260 with the confirmation that the work would be performed in July because the company was booked until then. After approximately two weeks or more was called by sales person to let us know that the work would be performed on July 4 and 5. Questioned the individual about the July 4 date--never occurred to him that was the holiday. Was told he would call back with a different date. Weeks went by and finally got a call that Pioneer had called my city to get instructions on what was needed to do work and did not like what they heard. Could not understand what the issue could be since I have used a number of contractors from Angie's list and this is the first time I've gotten this response about the city I live in. Called the city for my reference and was told they required a permit and proof that a licensed plumber would be doing the install of a sump pump. Normal I would think for this type of work. In any event, got a call back from Pioneer late May saying they did not want to "jump through hoops" to do work in my city and would return the check. Which explained why it had not been cashed in such a long time--and after further thought--was probably a good move not to move forward with them. It is now June and I have to start over looking for a contractor which I am sure are completely booked by now. And this has been a very raining season and the work has to be done. These folks had an excellent rating, the reason we selected them--not so excellent for me.

Pioneer Basement Solutions out of the Canton, Ohio office. They came in as scheduled and finish ahead of time. They cleaned up as promised. I did not have to go back and cleanup anything. They covered my flooring from the front door down to the basement. They did everything as estimated and the price was better than any other company gave me. I would use them again, if any other issues were to arise in a different area of the basement.

It was a great experience. There was no pressure during the initial inspection and estimate. I was given two possible options to fix my problem. They fit me in the schedule quicker than expected when they had a cancellation. The crew showed up and did a great job without any mess.

They were prompt, clean, professional and did a wonderful job. The only problem: we had to replace a washer hose and utility tub hose because they leaked after the reconnect and they didn't tighten the gas hookup to the dryer tight enough and we had to have the gas company come out to fix (at no cost) the leak when we discovered it. In fairness-the gas valve was probably over 30 to 40 yrs old and needs to be replaced anyway.

Wonderful! They were there for 3 days and the basement is dry for the first time in years!

It went very well. Ron came out to give me an estimate and he gave me options about what to do with some problem areas. We agreed on the panels and the crew came out a few days later and installed them.

Ron and his staff were very friendly and professional. They arrived on time in 2/22/11 and 2/23/11 and completed the work in the time planned, despite adverse weather. They sought owner input and reviewed with owner what had been completed. Cleaned up after themselves when job was completed. Over all a good experience.

They did an excellent job! Their work was beautiful. They were prompt, professional and timely. They made sure to clean up after themselves. If I could, I would give them straight A+s!

We spent $1550 on that work. The owner was very responsive and honest and it was all around a good company to work with. The workers were good and they showed up and got the work done in a day. They did a nice job at a reasonable price.

Excellent overall. Crew worked efficiently and meticulously. Took less time than I thought it would. Although this was a smaller job than this company normally does, they were willing to do it, and I am very satisfied.

Pioneer was extremely professional from start to finish. They didn't try to upsell, they were punctual, worked hard and had the job finished when they said they would. Cost was what they estimated. They even got the work permit from the city. Would recommend to anyone - excellent service!!!!

2 1/2 day project. Covered everything inside basement with plastic; clean up was amazing! Couldn't even tell crew was there. Outside I had to look closely in back yard to see where they trenched. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased. Completed a $15,000 basement project in fall 2007. We haven't had a drop of unwanted water in our basement!

They have been excellent. We really like them, and we are still working with them. Everything has gone well so far.

The crew from Pioneer Basement Waterproofing were very good. They came out when they said they would. They did the work that was needed to be done. They cleaned up after themselves. It was a very good experience. I would definitely use their services again in the future if needed.

The job went very well. It was a two day job and they finished it and was gone. They gave me an estimate and they stayed within it. They were professional and knew what needed to be done.

We solicited estimates from four companies. Pioneer was the most professional in its presentation. There were no high pressure sales tactics, the price was significantly lower than two of the others, & very competitive with the third. Outside of a little extra dust in the house from breaking up the concrete, the job was done neatly & very efficiently. Most importantly, after many years of a leaky basement, there has been no moisture anywhere since the job was completed over a month ago.

It went absolutely wonderful in all respects.

The workmanship looks good. I haven't tested it out yet because there hasn't been a big rain.
