Molly Maid has a terrible business model and if it wasn’t for Tori who was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, I would be leaving zero stars if I could. I had requested their cleaning services and was looking forward to the long list of services which were stated to be included during the time of booking. The day of my scheduled cleaning, the two ladies had arrived two hours late and while friendly, delivered less than sub-par cleaning and did not clean three of the rooms upstairs, completely missing our master bedroom and bathroom. While here, one of the ladies stepped outside to take a personal call and was screaming on the phone for around 10 minutes in my driveway. Everyone is entitled to a bad day, but this is beyond unacceptable. Not to mention they left only after one hour. The owner, Steve was combative, disrespectful and downright rude from the start of our conversation. I don’t consider myself to be unreasonable. I would never recommend their services to anyone.

We have used Molly Maids of Akron for 8 years. Their staff have done a nice job. Their staff is friendly & responsive. The owners have also been responsive and provided good customer service.

It did not go as planned. ...... I thought the time was different then they had down. When I called them after I awoke today, they did not even want to rearrange the time to clean, that was when the person I spoke too said that my house was to far away to go too. The owner did not want to drive that far for business. He lost an opportunity to expand in an area that really does not offer much for cleaning services ! Granted the communication error may of been on my part, I may of misunderstood, but to not to want to rearrange the time and keep your business, I am not a business person, but that seems like a bad move on their part. Today was to be their first cleaning, and it was to be a bit more of a charge, as they do deep cleaning the first time and then maintenance cleaning weekly after that ! Depending on size and time it took to clean the charge was to be between $150 to 200 today. I was fine with that price. I have paid more from other services and was excited to get a good reputable cleaning service on board ! What they offer in cleaning and their price, was what I was looking for. WE do not live high on the hog, nor have a fancy house with expensive furniture, but I do want my home clean !!! I do not have the time to clean with my work schedule and thought, I had found the right company , after having experienced several others, but again, I am very disappointed !!!! I travel for my job too, I am an RN on the road all afternoon into the night 5 to 6 days a week, I do home health, and travel farther then Molly Maids would need to travel to come to my home once a week, more then once in a shift, I travel to my clients homes and facilities, I would never tell them that they live to far from my business office or for me to drive to take care of them. So I would be weary about hiring this company if you live a distance from them. I live about 40-50 minutes, all freeway, from their office in Canton Ohio. The address listed above is an Akron Ohio address, but the Molly Maids I had contacted is in Canton Ohio. Their customer service I give a big O too !!! As for their cleaning, well sorry I can not help you with that either, as they did not clean !!!! I am done with hiring cleaning services. I am going to put an ad in the paper for a private regular person to come and clean! I am sure a person who wants to work, will be more dependable then the cleaning services I have hired thus far!

They do not run the dust mop under dressers or beds, even when it wouldn't require them to move furniture. They don't dust mop all the way to the walls or behind doors. They complained while groaning loudly about changing linens on top bunk of bunk bed. They broke things. They left dust rags laying on my bed and dresser many times. Gina huffs and puffs while cleaning - made me feel guilty for having her do work. They never emptied a single waste basket in over a year of biweekly cleaning. They did not follow instructions about where to put dirty linens ,and to make sure toilet water stopped running.

They usually do a good job cleaning. I just do not like their billing system because it seems to be kind of sporadic. So, I do not get bills until they add up and it seems kind of unorganized.

They were on time and very professional. Did a reasonal job of cleaning.

When the two ladies arrived I gave them one request which they said no problem. The asked for what product I would prefer to be used on the wood furniture and that is what they used. They worked very efficient and where done quicker than I thought they would be but still did a good job.

I have had Molly Maids for the last 7 years... often they were quiet good. More often they used my house as a training ground for new hirers who left my house in disarray. Mandi and Randi the regular girls were fantastic, and I felt like they were family but they were often Bound by the franchise owners with extras I didnt agree with, and were not in my contract. things were broken, times varied often... and the number of strangers with access to my house became unbearable, and in the end I felt very taken for granted. A conversation with Kris about my concerns were handled with attitude, which resulted in my ending the 7 year relationship. 7 years and $13,440.00 later I received my key taped to a blank piece of paper. Not even an "I'm sorry it didnt work out". My house is tidy, they basically came to dust mop and empty the trash.. and all I asked for in those 7 years was that they not use it as a training ground. And for that I wasn't even offered a polite good bye.. Use them for a one time service .. ask for Randi and Mandi and you'll be fine, but I wouldn't recommend a long term agreement with them, your business means nothing... A blank sheet of paper as far as they are concerned.

The two women from Molly Maid were very good. They did everything I asked them to do and I was satisfied with their work. It was a onetime deal.

They are excellent. The cleaning job is very thorough and they girls that work for them are very professional. The owner is fair with his pricing. They are always on time and are great and they most important thing is the job they do. I had dogs and we had some remodeling done and a lot of dust was created and they were excellent and cleaned up well.

they appeared to be very accomadating --pleasant girl who answered the phone!--RECOMENDED A CARPET CLEANER WHO DID A FANTASTIC JOB. AT THIS TOWN HOUSE.--(WILL DO A RATING ON HIM AT ANOTHER TIME.) Possably, I didn't make myself as presice as I shoud have. thinking an empty house would be a clue as to what was needed to be accomplishen! regardless if it were to be rented or put up for sale ! I live in Florida and it was very upsetting that it was vacated and I needed all the RELIABLE help that I could get! BEEING 900 MILES AWAY FROM IT.

They were good solid workers who didn't waste any time. They did the work cheerfully. They mixed a few spots but it was minor. They were good. They would ask me if I wanted things done or not, and I thought that was helpful. They put so racks and shelves back in for me when I asked them, and that was a big relief for me.

They were wonderful. They were very pleasant and talked very little in order to get work done. They even smiled while they worked and the house looks great. They asked me what did I wanted before they proceeded and asked for a list for the next visit. I was very impressed with them and their attitudes and I would highly recommend them.

I had them out one time and I think there was a miscommunication between the manager and the ladies that came out. They were fine for what they did. I would possibly use them again.

The service was great. I called early this morning, and the owner was understanding of my situation and worked to get me in right away. Then, thankfully, due to another job rescheduling, they were able to squeeze me in even sooner. The 2 women showed up a few minutes early. They were flexible with what I wanted and time I could use them, since I really had no idea what it was all going to take. They asked when they had questions and overall did a great job with the mess I had! I would certainly call them again and probably will when the rest of the construction project is done!

The office quickly returned my call requesting an estimate and someone came out the next day to provide an estimate after looking at the areas to be cleaned. The only issue I had was when I accepted the estimate the person who came out told me he would call the next day to schedule a cleaning date/time and no one called, instead I had to call their office myself approx 4 days later. They showed up at their schedule time and did an excellent job cleaning the bathrooms. They are scheduled to do perform the same service every 4 weeks.

Mark Baer, president of this local franchise came out to our house, "late" and then proceeds to insult every room he entered. Brief history: I am a cancer survivor just coming off 1 long hard year of treatment. My wife stood by my side at every turn and still worked full time. She has since broken her arm and after 7 weeks, I decided she needed some help. What she didn't need was some stranger walking around our home insulting her housekeeping or lack thereof, without any history/knowledge. My wife wouldn't let this guy back into our home even if the service was free.

There were 3 ladies who were on time and introduced themselves upon arrival. They listened to the chores that I needed to have done and in what priority. They allowed me to check their cleaning products for possible allergies that I might have. They accomplished all work in a reasonable amount of time. They did an excellent job. I have scheduled another session for December.

The team they sent was friendly and professional, and knew what they were doing.
