John is an excellent electrician! We have used several times and each time he returned calls quickly, was professional, efficient and reasonably priced.

John was wonderful. He'd replaced the sensor over a year ago, but it was not working. He replaced it at no charge!

John was great, always polite, very conscientious - and the work was done on time and on budget! We will definitely use him again, and have recommended him to friends and family!

John is a fantastic electrician. Worked with me on various details to be sure everything was done satisfactorily. He also worked within the confines of outdated and sometimes confusing electric work in our 50s ranch home; not an easy task. We also have the worst (it's official, according to him) pull-down attic stair ladder that he had to manage - also not easy. He had great suggestions for future options and was super pleasant to work with. Also very responsive and great communications, which is HUGE. We will be calling on him again!

Very well! He even went to the store for me when one of the new lights did not work for my application. The only issue is, he's so good that he was booked up for a while before he could work on my project.

My furnace shut off due to electrical issues and I needed to act fast with the weather outside at 40 degrees. I left a VM with John around 10:30 AM and he called me back within an hour to let me know he would be in my area by late afternoon if I needed him. My uncle found my main breaker wasn't giving enough voltage to the bars thus not enough juice to power my dryer OR my furnace. I imminently called John at 2:30 PM and he said he could come within twenty minutes. John checked everything out and agreed my main breaker was the issue and acted fast. He had a main breaker for my box in his truck and gave me step by step details of everything he was doing. I was so thankful he had a spare breaker in his truck and that he could come so quickly. After he arrived, the job took around half hour to complete and my furnace powered back on by 3:09 PM!

He did an excellent job with the earlier items and I expect will do the same with the larger one.

He was exactly on time. He asked if he should remove his shoes when entering the house. He looked over the area and the panel. He said that the least expensive option was to convert the line from 220v to 110v. He explained everything and did the work quickly. He showed me everything with his tester. I would use this company again.

Fantastic. John is a complete pro. Right on time, knows the job extremely well. He is efficient, polite, good humored. Everything about the experience was first rate. This is exactly who you would want to come to your home to do a job. I would hire him again in a minute.

Mr. Jordan was excellent. Found him through Angie's List and had him do two jobs a few weeks apart. Once I contacted him by phone, left a voice mail, and he called me back within the hour. The other time I emailed him to request an appointment because it was after 8pm. He responded within a half hour and set up an appointment for the next day. He was always on time, very polite, and efficient in his work. He cleaned up after himself and did a terrific job fixing the poor electrical work that had been done by an unknown party before I purchased my home (incorrectly wired GFI outlet, loose breaker box). The second job I asked him to do was to satisfy a request made by the buyer of my home, and his swift communication and excellent workmanship helped move along the home sale negotiations quickly and satisfactorily. Both times I requested an emailed invoice and he sent them as requested on the same day as the work he completed. Unfortunately I am moving out of the state, otherwise I would continue to use Mr. Jordan for any electrical work that I might need completed.

Extremely professional and experienced, conducted pre-visit and followed up same evening with detailed email estimate. Once I approved, set up appointment for 1PM and on that date, arrived at 12:59PM. Completed work in approx. 3 hrs., work space was clean and neat upon departure, and all work was done exactly as we had discussed and as detailed in the estimate, as was the final cost.

John was great to work with from the beginning to the end. We communicated via email (my choice) and he always responded very quickly. We agreed on a date for him to come out and provide an estimate. He took his time to talk through the options of how and where to install the new plug and which electrical box would be the best option to use. The final estimate was very reasonable and included the work to obtain the inspection. On the day of the install, John showed up promptly at 9:00 and spent three hours installing the new outlet. He cleaned up everything when he was done and had the inspector check out the work. John was always professional and a pleasure to work with.

Our real estate agent in the Akron area did not have a local electrician to recommend, so we selected Jordan Electric from Angie's List for Northeast Ohio to get an estimate. As we had a short window before the expiration of the buyer's loan agreement, Mr. Jordan promptly visited the property and performed a very detailed analysis of the problems listed in the inspection, even opening the meter box to determine that one of the problems listed in the inspection had a different cause than the inspector had assumed. He divided all of the repairs needed into three projects of related repairs -- garage wiring, electrical box & outlet repairs/upgrades and provided a detailed estimate for each project. The outlet upgrades included installing GFCI connections (ground plug receptacles), as the house had been built before a ground plug was required. When we presented his proposal to buyer and both real estate agents, the buyer was concerned that Mr. Jordan wasn't going to fix the drip loop as indicated in the inspector's report, so Mr. Jordan took the time to contact the buyer and explain to him what he found and why he was going to do something different. The agents were concerned about the price (not sure why as we, the sellers, were paying for it) and asked us to get another estimate from a company recommended by the buyer's agent. The estimate we received was about 12% less than Jordan Electric's, but it was made entirely from the inspection report without visiting the property. After taking Jordan Electric's discount for Angie's List subscribers, though, the difference came out to only 3%, and we were concerned that the other company might increase their charge after coming to the site and discovered the need for some of the other repairs listed in Mr. Jordan's estimate. So we chose Jordan Electric to do the work. He came out on Monday and finished on Wednesday, sending us daily updates and photos of the results. He also let us know of a sink backup (which allowed us to get the plumbers out in time), when the HVAC company came out to scope the A/C unit replacement, and of an unsolicited visitor to the property. He notified us when the city would be coming out to inspect and when that inspection was complete. We did not get a chance to visit the property ourselves after the work was done; my brother-in-law was there the day before the house was transferred on 11/20 and reported no problems. If I receive any updates from the current owner, I will update this review, but I don't expect that to happen. In summary, we were very pleased with Jordan Electric, LLC and would recommend them to others in northeast Ohio needing electrical work.

We have a very high, sloped ceiling in our kitchen but John had no issues using two different very high ladders to replace the old canister lights in our kitchen with new LED gimbals. He also suggested that we get a dimmer switch - and so we had him install that too. (The LED gimbals were his idea - I thought we would need to do a more detailed replace/repair job.) He was friendly, prompt, professional and charged a fair price. I will certainly call him again for any electrical needs that arise. Thank you John!

This was not our first experience with John. He came well prepared, was very thorough and cleaned up after himself. I would not hesitate to use him again.

We had a problem with our dishwasher and needed it to be repaired quickly. We called John and he immediately answered the phone. Although we did not expect to get service soon, John mentioned that he did have time that day and that he would stop by. John arrived at the exact time he promised. He examined the dishwasher and was very thorough. He was upfront about not being 100% certain that the problem has been fixed but said that he had high confidence that we would no longer have problems with it. He was right (so far)! He also did an excellent job cleaning up after. We are actually going to contact John soon about a project that we are planning for the fall.
