I was a customer for over a decade. They came out for a scheduled 3 visits per year. I was very happy during that time with their work and price. HOWEVER, I was moving and would no longer need services. I called to inform them. The owner thanked me and told me he would note my account and discontinue services. I asked if he wanted to remove his bait traps and he said yes. I called AGAIN, closer to my move date to ask if they still wanted traps as I was moving. The owner sent an employee to get them. THEN I received my new, 2019 service schedule in the mail. Once again, I called the owner to tell him I was moving and this was the third time I’d asked to be removed from the schedule. He said he’d handle it. Then I moved. On my original service date (May 4] the technician called to tell me that he was at my house but new people lived there. I told him that I’d informed the owner THREE TIMES that I was moving and apologized for his wasted time. Well, today (June 4), I received a bill for the missed service! (Sent, of course, to the old address and forwarded by the post office). Do NOT use this pest control service. When you try to end it it’s like trying to quit a gym, or dating service, or book-of-the-month-club, or ... you get the idea.

I thought price was reasonable. They were here about two hours to complete job. They left the area clean.

I called them to take care of some Carpenter Ants that were in my bathroom. They were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They explained why I was seeing the ants in the winter, about how they make nesting sites inside the walls of my house in the summer and then begin to run out of food in the late winter. They explained the life cycle of the ants, and asked a lot of questions about my house. They told me the big tree in my front yard was where the problem probably began. J & J set me up on a service plan that covers against virtually every pest except termites. They are coming out four more times during the next year to cover the ants life cycle. I have had spiders and other bugs in my house occasionally through the years. They covered my home against all of these critters including mice which I have from time to time. The service man showed up on time and in uniform in a marked truck just like the office said he would. Montiell is very professional, friendly and polite. He put shoe covers on each time he entered my house. I was very happy with the service and feel comfortable that my problem is going to be gone for good.
