It went very well with them. We chose them because they came highly recommended by some college colleagues. They were very personable and if they were not able to immediately take a call, they were always prompt in returning the call. They seem to do their best for us a customer.

We were looking to purchase a house in Greater Cleveland area and hired Chris's services from March 2013 after interviewing him to represent us as our exclusive buyers agent. He was very punctual, professional and explained his model of business and how he only represents the buyers (unlike traditional agents who help buy as well as sell houses). After understanding his dime per dollar saved policy, we retained him as our agent and he helped us visit and evaluate about 70 properties. For each home visited, we discussed and gave our feedback with his ipad app. We were able to successfully negotiate and complete our home purchase in July 2013 with help from Chris and his team. I would recommend his services for anyone looking for buyer's agent to represent themselves to purchase a house.

Chris was great in helping me hunt down the right house for me and negotiating with a particularly difficult listing agent. This is the third home I've purchased, and where I bought those homes, Buyer's Agents were common. So when I looked to buy in the Cleveland area, naturally I looked for one here. Turns out they are almost unheard of. Luckily, I was able to find Chris. Once you've used a Buyer's Agent, you will never use a realtor again. The dynamics and attitude of someone who only fights for buyers makes all the difference in feeling like someone is truly looking out only for your best interest. And Chris was all that. He was very responsive in getting me in to see houses I was interested, and didn't waste my time sending me listings that would have no appeal to me. He used to flip houses, so I particularly liked that he looked at homes with an eye toward structure, potential on fixer-uppers, and generally not being swayed by just a pretty coating of paint. That was critical in the house I bought. It had only a half bath upstairs and my number one requirement was a full bath upstairs. He saw a way to expand into basically wasted space in order to convert to a full bath.. Once a plumber confirmed that it was feasible, we went ahead with the purchase, and I had a successful renovation. I doubt few other agents would have been able to see that and keep me from walking away from a house that had everything else I needed. Chris had to negotiate with an agent that was either incredibly inexperienced or just plain incompetent (also the opinion of my mortgage agent). It made for that much more effort and patience and frustration to get all the paperwork in order, but he shielded me from having to be involved in the worst of it, thank goodness. He wrote the offer and contingencies is such a way that really, really made sure that something was executed correctly, rather than what he correctly guessed would otherwise have been a couple of guys and a case of beer project. He got a lot of grief from the listing agent through the process but held his ground. We ultimately got the price reduction from it we were going for in the first place. I wholeheartedly recommend using Chris if you're looking to buy a home. Realtors will tell you that they sign a "buyer's agent contract" with you, but it's not the same as a true, dedicated Buyer's Agent. Home buying is stressful - make sure you can have full trust in your representation. Chris is your partner in finding the right home, and your fighter once you've found it.

The whole process went much, much more smoothly than I'd expected. Chris spent 2 hrs. with me at our first meeting. He explained how the process works - from determining what kind of home I was looking for to what happens at closing. I had seen a couple of homes with a traditional agent prior to meeting Chris. She explained almost nothing to me and didn't seem to care if I found a home or not. So, right off the bat, my experience with the first meeting with Chris was a huge relief. I knew I had someone I could trust who would work actively to help me find a home. Homebuyer Experts is comprised of an entire team of people who work with you every step of the way. For example, Chris took me to showings and Sean attended the inspection. Someone from the office was in contact with me on a nearly daily basis - sometimes multiple times a day - after I made the first offer on my home. I felt like Chris and the staff carried me through the process, which minimized the inevitable stress of buying a home. I bought the 4th home I looked at. Chris negotiated an incredible deal. Homebuyer Experts makes more money the lower Chris negotiates the price. It's a win-win situation. I couldn't' be happier. I rave about Homebuyer Experts to anyone I meet who's in the market to buy. I love my house and can't thank the team at Homebuyer Experts enough.

We wanted to move to a bigger home for our kids to grow up in. Chris helped us pick out what was important to us and match that with the available housing stock. We wanted to move this year in order to take advantage of lower prices and good interest rates. We had used a buyers agent when we first moved to the area and had a good experience. Chris was even better. He was available for showings at almost any time and was always quick to reply to phone/email messages when he was with another client and couldn't talk right away. After looking at over fifty houses in a three month period we settled on two. Chris helped negotiate and got us a price for one of them that we couldn't refuse. He made all contacts with the listing agent removing any stress or concern on our part. Everything went through him first making it easier to navigate the process. I wouldn't buy a house without a buyers agent like Chris. He puts your needs first and makes the home buying process less stressful and more fun. He is worth his weight in gold.

He owns his own company called Home Buyer Experts. We had a really good experience with him. He helped us really look at a number of properties. He negotiated a really nice deal on the house we ended up purchasing. He was definitely very knowledgeable and professional. It was a small company and he was one of the main guys. So he was extremely busy. It was somewhat hard to get to him. But he usually returns the calls pretty quickly. He wasn’t there at a moment’s notice unfortunately. He helped us with a number of things outside of just a normal role as a real estate agent. He helped us find a different agent to sell our condo. I thought that it was kind of above and beyond. He also came down to our condo and did a walk through. He gave us some suggestions about how they will help it sell quicker. So those were all things which were kind of above and beyond. He was also very helpful in helping us with the overall purchase of the house that we did buy.
