Steve Hazelett called me back I had left a message yesterday to inquire about there slate roof services. I texted him back that I couldn't talk My text said, I was with a customer which is a response my phone gives out when I can't talk at that moment. I was actually in the hospital getting a blood test. Steve replied with a text ("Done"). I didn't understand it but I thought it was an unusual response. The only thing I could logically reference to was : I'm Done with You! I called him back shortly after and explained I couldn't talk and could he call me in an hour. He sound a bit rude and that he would try. I just figured I got his attitude wrong. I got out of the hospital and called him in the parking lot. I had looked him up on the internet for an expert slate roofers in Geauga County, Middlefield area and Hazelett Roofing came up. I call back and get Steve Hazelett on the phone and in a friendly manner I inquired into his services. I said the property was in Middlefield. He said "Where the **** is Middlefield, I've never heard of Middlefield." I said Geauga County. I asked him where he was located and he rudely said "that's not relevant here, I can't help you and he hung up on me while I was still talking. I'm a very easy going person but there was no reason that a member of the Hazlett Company should talk to any potential customer in that manner. If he can't handle a simple phone conversation with an new customers inquiry, how will he treat you!!!

Hazlett Roofing did a great job replacing my gutters and repairing slate. They walked me through the types of gutter options, and were able to recommend a look that best fit the historic look of my house. They came when they said they would, took care not to smash my flowers, and were very polite. I will have them back next year to replace the remaining gutters.

Stephen Hazlette did a great job on our roof. He stopped by several times to estimate the job and provided a written estimate as well as photographs of the areas that needed repair. He replaced several broken tiles and repaired a small section of rotten roof as well as coating a small flat roof. His team arrived on time and were very professional. We will be using him again.

They had a crew of 3-4 people working on the roof. They were fantastic and did a great job. They were perfect with scheduling.

He made a special trip to come on a Saturday because I just started a new job and have trouble missing work. The estimate was very reasonable and much lower than other contractors and he was knowledgeable, polite and helpful. I will be using this company for my roofing renovations.

I contacted two other roofers. One returned call 2-3 days later. As immediate response while weather was clear and snow melted was crucial, response time was more than just a matter of professionalism. The company hired--which will be doing further work come spring--had someone answering phone and sent crew out next day.

His price was very straightforward and there was no hidden charges. He communicated well and stayed in contact with me during the job. He always came on time and if they weren't able to come because of weather, he would always call and let me know.

Does a good job at a good price.

THE INSTALLER WAS POLITE AND EFFICIENT. HE CLEANED UP THE WORK AREA. HE GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE AND DID THE WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER. HE SOLVED MY BLOCKED CHIMNEY PROBLEM.

OUR STUFF GOT DONE.
