Description of Work: The staff that did the actual landscaping did a good job considering they were not instructed where to place the plants and other details. I, the client showed them where and what had to be taken care of. I called to have landscaping done and after 2 weeks I called again because no one returned my call. I talked to a consultant in August and after making changes, it seemed the project would move forward and be completed. Because the consulted repeatedly included plants that I did not want on the proposal, it took until October to get the work started. It took about 2 days to be completed. Everything that had been agreed upon with the consultant was not done. Had there been better up-front planning maybe things would have gone better. I did not quibble about the cost. I only wanted my yard to be done the way I wanted. I chose Graf Growers because I saw what a good job they had done with my parents yard a few years ago.

Description of Work: I love Graf Growers, but I must report that they did not follow through on this request for weeding and mulching, even after 3 phone requests for a bid. I was super disappointed. I know this is a busy time and I know my job is a very small one, but a call telling me they could not do the job would have been much appreciated. Instead, I heard nothing.

We came up with a plan and he assured me that he would drop off or mail an estimate. I never received anything by mail or by phone or at my home..
Description of Work: area of my back yard which borders the woods and tends to get overgrown with weeds. I wanted advice on how to handle it.

 + 1 moreThe day they were to come, Friday, I got a call saying they'd probably be here right after lunch. Their previous job delayed them, so they didn't arrive until 2:45, and I was told that they'd probably have to do the mulch on Monday since they wouldn't have time to finish that day. They started with three people, but they managed to finish the whole thing just after 5:00 with at least six workers. The crew was polite, as always, and I was given a suggestion for cutting back one plant in the fall. The result is beautiful.
Description of Work: Weeded, cleaned up flower beds and landscaping, planted one arborvita, put down pre-emergent and 6 yards of mulch, as well as landscape fabric.

 + 1 moreThe guys were very professional. They came over on the day we discussed did all the work expertly, they even told me what plant would grow best in that area. They placed a metal strip at the bottom of the hill to help hold everything in place as it fills in. When the job was finished, they cleaned up the mess.
Description of Work: Landscaping to correct an area of erosion. The area is a hill on the side of my driveway that was eroding away from the driveway. Some tree roots were visible on the hill also. Graf Growers suggested filling the area with planting mix and planting ground cover to hold it in place.
