Terrible! Kevin Furia is the worst plumber I’ve ever encountered. He’s all talk but in reality he does half *** work and cuts corners. We hired him to fix the sewer floor drain. He had his 17 year old son break up the concrete in our basement floor and Kevin poured cement over it. It was very sloppy. $800 later and the issue we needed fixed, never got fixed. Kevin said he would come back the following week and put a camera in to see what was going on, which he should’ve done from the beginning. He never showed up to do this and didn’t even have the decency to call. He will stop answering all of your phone calls. This man is extremely unprofessional. In the pictures I attached you can see how badly he applied the cement and the drain is still clogged. Take your business somewhere else. Trust me.

Work was satisfactory. However, due to a banking mix-up, First Choice / Kevin Furia was paid twice (double the correct amount ), deposited both checks, and then ignored our repeated calls and written requests for reimbursement (despite the fact the overpayment was clearly explained and supported by appropriate documentation).
Description of Work: Installed new shower faucet and did minor repairs

Other than what I stated above - there is nothing else I have to say other than find a different plumber.
Description of Work: We are opening a store and we need to add a bathroom, 3 sinks etc. He said he would start the job on a certain day and only showed up for 20 minutes for the deposit - said he would be back then didn't show up until noon the next day. This was a constant thing with him. He would tell us he was going to be there and we wouldn't hear from him or see him for days. The job took way longer than it should. He's a talker - not sure what to believe out of his mouth. He still owes us a part for a machine and we've sent countless texts and calls have gone unresponsive. I would NOT recommend him. The other thing he does is works multiple jobs which pushed ours behind when we need him to finish.

Kevin appeared to be competent but it was just a good show. After nearly 3 months he never finished our job as he had promised and the work that was done was sub-par at best. We had to chase him down just to get most of it done and then we gave up. This guy talks a good game but clearly can't live up to his promises. If you have anything other than a clogged drain going on, go with someone else.
Description of Work: We had significant water in our basement after a rainstorm and Kevin was one of several plumbers etc that we had come take a look. He gave us a quote for cleaning the downspouts and then suggested we replace them with harder pvc piping. He said he had the guys to dig them up and redo all of the drainage for our gutters. Kevin is a nice guy and appeared competent so we hired him to do this. He promised a 20 year warranty on the work. Eventually most of the work was done, though we had to chase him down and his workers a few times. However, we had a drainage problem at the end of one of the buried pipes and another pipe began emerging from under ground in our front yard We chased him down for nearly 3 months and after many broken promises we gave up... this guy is totally unreliable and irresponsible.

Kevin made a brief inspection (no charge) before quoting so there would be no surprises. All was done while working around various stages of remodeling. All was done well, Kevin included water hammer suppression which eliminated the annoying clank I'd been living with and offered higher quality materials (i.e. copper on the ice-maker) for the same price as most others verbally quote with plastic. Previous work has passed the test of time, and the one item that could not be hard quoted until opening it up had a high and low number on the quote and came with an explanation of what would make the high number be needed. I was lucky that the low number prevailed, but I appreciated knowing worst case in advance. The only drawback, if it can be called such, is Kevin prioritize emergencies and his client list is sufficient that I have been bumped twice (out of probably six or eight visits). He called in a timely fashion and I value knowing that this service is available. The work is quality and everything he's touched has stayed dry.
Description of Work: This was the third request of service from Kevin from First Choice, where he did the rough-in for a custom shower installation that had unusual routing requirements due to obstructions, replaced a leaking set of valves for the laundry room and added a connection for an ice-maker.
