They took care of everything, cleaned up, kept us informed with what they were doing and when they had to go get more parts kept us informed. It took us a few weeks because of the weather but they kept us very informed. Overall a good experience.

They are fantastic. When they serviced our old unit they were right in line with everyone else. They always send the same guy which i love, we know him and are comfortable him. We are comfortable enough we leave our door unlocked he comes in, does what he needs and locks up. They are very good.

We have used Echols for the past 23 years. They are HONEST, Responsive, and Professional. They are on time, knowledgeable and provide a service at a reasonable price.

I asked for an initial inspection. I was not home, so my father was at the house to let him in. My furnace was checked and the diagnosis of a new heat exchanger was given. I was hoping that it wouldn't be the heat exchanger but I figured it would be. So there were no surprises in the diagnosis. He was very straightforward in his evaluation of my furnace. He stated that he would wrap the cost of the service call into the cost of the heat exchanger. I waited several weeks before scheduling the replacement due to the high cost of a heat exchanger. When I mentioned what was previously discussed about the cost of the service call, the owner disagreed that this was something that they offered to their clients. I was very surprised to hear this and disappointed that the message was not communicated from the employee to the owner. It took several more phone calls and a few more discussions, but the owner finally agreed to the offer made by the employee. I also signed up for their service agreement, for which they will return this fall to prepare my furnace for the winter. They did an excellent job on all of the work and were very courteous even though the miscommunication between employee and ownership resulted in some poor customer service.

I have used Echols for years. Never an issue. Ever! The $ 179 is for the service contract. Well worth it. My central air unit quit in the middle of summer,called,they came right out,fixed it in no time at all & I haven't had a problem since. If they see something they feel will need attention in the near future they give you a heads up & you decide what you want to do. Absolutely no pressure. Highly recommend.

We needed a new heating/AC system. We live in an area that until recently had no gas line so have been using an electric heat pump system. We wanted to switch to gas but, after consulting the gas company and for reasons that have to do with the difficulty/cost of bringing the line into our house we chose the electric system. Echols helped us through this. They did not try to oversell us (which another company did). They were extremely efficient and did everything very carefully. The system has now been through a tough winter and we are very pleased with the result.

I had purchased an abandoned foreclosed property that had all copper plumbing stolen. As a result, most of the Freon and oil had leaked from the central air unit.

It went verry well. The technician was very prompt and professional. He adjusted the dampers for better circulation to the upstairs areas.

The Service technicians were professional and extremely efficient completing the removal of the old HVAC and installation of the new HVAC system in one day. They installed a 96% efficiency two stage furnace and a Infinity two stage central air conditioner with a infinity thermostat. My wife was home during the install on a very hot day. By the time I got home the entire house was already cool. Carrier isn't cheap, but the quality of the superior equipment more than makes up for the premium price. I would highly recommend Echols heating and cooling

Professional, quick, accurate service & installation.

The service wasn’t worth the money. They came by for a few minutes and told me I should call a provider more local to me.

They were prompt, on time, and the serviceman was efficient and explained everything to me. They were also reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to others and will use them again in the future.

They're fantastic. What makes them good is their customer service, responsiveness, attentiveness, and follow-up. They're perfect. It has been working very well.

It was okay. The guy was very professional and covered all the parameters on the performance. It took a while to set it up. He was on time.

Late this afternoon (Sunday), I discovered the reason my wife heard a terrible clunking noise coming from our new A/C unit. A mouse ventured into the fan blades and created quite a mess. I shut off the main power supply and cleaned up what was left of the curious rodent. When completed, I turn the switch back on, but noticed the unit did not start up when the thermostat kicked in. After a number of checks to see if there was something I missed, I called Echols emergency voice mail and left a message. Within 5 minutes, Echols service tech, Matt, called and asked what was happening and suggested a few things to try. I did everything as was instructed by him, but nothing worked. Without hesitation, Matt asked for my address and said he'll be at my home in less than an hour. He was prompt, courteous and professional - and come to find, he left a family cookout to make a service call on a Sunday at 6:00 p.m. The problem was not even with the A/C unit, but with a bad breaker that failed. Matt was able to temporarily fix the problem, and said he would check in at the shop in the morning to see if a new breaker was available. I can't commend Matt enough for doing what he did. The forecast for the foreseeable future is in the 90's and I have a family with loads of allergy problems. He is a true reflection of customer satisfaction, and will keep me a loyal Echols customer for many years ahead. Bravo, Matt!

Echols Heating & Air-conditioning Inc have done several projects for me. The price is reasonable and the service is above excellent. I like their knowledge, experience and their great customer service. If I need any additional service, I will be using them again.

From start to finish the whole process was painless. From the time I called for a quote until the installation was complete, Echols was very responsive and addressed all my concerns to my complete satisfaction. Even if I asked a stupid question and they knew it was a stupid question, and I'm sure I did this a few times given my type A personality, they never once made me feel like I was asking a stupid question. I had obtained 4 quotations and Echols was the only installer to point out the available manufacturer's rebates and utility rebates. None of the other companies made any attempt to point out these savings opportunities and Echols pricing before rebates was competitive, so there was never any concern that their pricing was inflated before rebates. Also, Echols was the only installer who followed up after submitting their proposal, which demonstrated they actually wanted the work. They also spent the most time during the proposal process to make sure they fully understood what needed to be done to complete the installation and that all my concerns were addressed. The installers were on time, courteous, and maintained a clean work environment. Even when the job got a bit messy when removing the old equipment, they did a good job cleaning up after themselves. As part of installing the new high efficiency gas furnace, they had to run vent pipes and I was very impressed with precision and quality of their work. All work was completed on time and they did everything they had promised to do. My wife and I are now enjoying the comfort of our new Carrier Infinity System. I would highly recommend Echols to family and friends!

Bill at Echols gave me a $2,000 rough verbal estimate over the phone - much lower than anyone else. But when he examined my home, he said the cost would be "around $3,700 to $4,000." That was in line with the highest rough estimates I'd heard from others. I didn't mention the earlier $2,000 phone estimate, and asked him to prepare his best written quotation. Two weeks later, I received an email, promising a quotation "this week." However, I never received any quotation. By that time I had hired another contractor anyway.

The heat exchanger on our 20 year old furnace was cracked. After receiving estimates we chose Echols. The estimates were within$20 dollars of one another, but Echols saved us an additional $400 through their affiliation with the "Good Cents" energy audit program. Each step of the process was professional and timely with quality workmanship.

Showed up on time. Friendly. The guy did a great job We have used Echols in the past for heating and cooling. We have always been very pleased. This was the first time we got our ducts cleaned ( house is 1950's era). It was easier and less cost and hassle than we had thought all those years. It may be that Echols subs this work out to the actual person who showed up but.. they picked a guy who deserves to be working under their name.
