I never asked him to come out, but they charged me over $100 because of this supposed plan to come out to my house. They would not let me speak to a supervisor when I called in to complain. They did eventually refund me as confirmed by debit card company. Update: I requested the recorded phone call where I supposedly ordered a security system. They refused to give it to me and have been tossing me around from rep to rep. Update: I contacted the BBB in regards to my situation and was advised of two things. They said that the service provider claims that I told them over the phone to go ahead with the transaction which was false. I was also told that I entered into a contract with the company who handled the sale and installation of the service. There was no sale, there was no installation of the system but that is what the BBB told me. If feel as if this service provider is covering up for their deceit.

Excellent. The installer was professional, friendly and courteous. The installation cost was a bit pricey. There was a rebate for $100.00 dollars which offset the cost; a detail that was not forth coming by the company reps from the first call, and I had to make an additional call to speak with the manager to get the rebate. Additional alarm sensors are also expensive, a cost at $130.00 a piece. For the contract length of 3 years, I think there should have been some sort of reduction in the cost of additional sensors. I pay a monthly fee of $47.00 dollars a month for peace of mind...all in all the cost and sleeping at night equals out.

FIRST INSTALLER 2-HRS LATE, FINISHED ABOUT 75% OF JOB, BUT DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION DUE TO THE BACK-UP CELLULAR PHONE OPTION WE HAD SIGNED-UP FOR, A WEEK EARLIER! RETURNED THE NEXT DAY WITH 2ND INSTALLER, WHO DID A VERY MESSY JOB WITH THE FINAL WIRING. (HE COULD HAVE BEEN MORE TIDY WITH THE INSTALLATION.) INSTEAD OF A LOCK ON THE CONTROL BOX, INSTALLER JAMMED A TINY SCREW INTO THE DOOR'S VENT HOLE TO KEEP IT CLOSED! SCRAPS OF WIRE WERE LEFT ALL OVER THE FLOOR. HE DIDN'T HOOK UP THE FOIL SENSORS ON 6 WINDOWS - SAYS THEY'RE INCOMPATIBLE WITH NEW SYSTEM. OUR CATS TRIP MOTION SENSORS DESPITE INSTALLERS' PROMISES - SO WE CAN'T USE THAT FUNCTION OF THE SYSTEM. TRIED CALLING TO REMEDY - GOT TRANSFERRED BETWEEN, AND HAD TO EXPLAIN THE WHOLE STORY TO, 4 DIFFERENT REPS. I'M WAITING FOR A CALL BACK. ALSO, IT WOULD HAVE COST ABOUT $2000 TO COMPLETELY SECURE OUR 3-BDRM/2-STORY HOUSE W/BSMT. SEEM TO HAVE THE "GET 'EM AND FORGET 'EM" RATHER THAN LONG-TERM VIEW OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.
