+ 0 moreCardinal provided useful information for me to use when dealing with the contractors, as I knew what I wanted and what I did not want. They recommended some contractors for me., which I also checked on Angie's List. I got 3 bids and listened to them explain what they would do and how they would do it. I chose one of them after seeing their bid, and listening to what they planned to do. It was very valuable that Cardinal took the time to explain things to me. I am plan to use Cardinal to deliver the gravel that I will need for the driveway. You can buy railroad ties, landscape timbers, stone, pavers, and gravel directly from them if you are a do-it-yourselfer, but I am too old for that.
Description of Work: I have known about Cardinal Tie for some years now, and I wanted to see how much landscape timbers would cost, and look into the costs of pavers. See, they are not landscapers, but they are wholesalers of supplies used by contractors. That is why there are no reviews here for them. But, I wanted to give them a review because they took the time to explain many things to me about the types of ties, how they are installed and other requirements. .

+ 0 moreWe feel that this company provides fair pricing. They go out of their way to help you and explain the pros and cons of the various material options. We felt as if we were buying from a friend of the family--we were empowered and advised appropriately for the type of project we were going to be doing.
Description of Work: We bought the treated landscaping timbers, rebar, spikes from them to rebuild a rotting railroad tie retaining wall. They delivered the items at a time of our convenience. We were doing the labor ourselves and they offered advice/recommendations.
