Steve came out and met with my wife and I twice. He listened to our ideas, made some great suggestions and turned around a quote and design very quickly. I was impressed that Boyd is an Angie's List Super Service Award winner-we got several other quotes, but the Super Service award gave us the extra confidence that this would be a quality project. His team was professional, punctual and very courteous to our family while working. Steve's wife Jen coordinates everything and does a great job. I told Steve, if this job went well, we were planning to remodel our master bath and then our kitchen. Can't wait to get those projects going! Highly recommend.

Steve and Jen along with their teams have been a pleasure to work with. We are extremely pleased with Boyd and the work that was completed. Our master bath remodel included building a new shower, new soakingtub, new cabinetry and everything else including tiling and lighting? Very flexible in terms of working how things were managed (acquiring fixtures, working with shower glass install, granite selection, etc, etc). While no construction project is ever perfect as there are always issues ? our project seemed to have very minor issues that caused no real challenges between us and Boyd. I do want to give Boyd a big thumbs-up for dealing with my requests as they did. I can be a bit overwhelming with my questions and desire for clarity ? so they did a great job managing a guy like me! Jen did a great job answering emails from me on a weekly (likely daily) basis ? which I really appreciated. The crew (Adam and Jeremy) were awesome. Everyday they laid out floor coverings from our front door to the bath room to keep the area from getting dirty ? and then rolled it up when it was time to knock off for the day. We felt very comfortable with them in our house. Anytime I had questions ? they would take the time to explain what they were doing and how it played into the overall project. There were a few days where I am sure I was more of a pest as I was working from home and checking in with them quite often to see how things were going (I am a weekend warrior and like to do projects so very interested in watching how these guys work, what they are doing, etc). The duration of the work was right in line with the quote provided ? although we had some issues that moved work out a few weeks due to unforeseen issues (ie ? we intended to keep our original cabinetry but when removing the old counter we realized we had to replace the vanity which delayed things a bit. To be clear ? this was a project issue and not caused by Boyd in any way. Overall ? we are very pleased with the project and would highly recommend Boyd for our friends and family. Now that we have the ?bug? we will certainly chat with Boyd next year when we start planning for a kitchen remodel we have on our radar.

Everything the provider said he would do was completed. The provider also included some new items to do that were not figured in initially. The provider and his crew were very professional and friendly The only problem we had was not a fault of the provider, but with a supplier in not getting the correct material the first time and then a lengthy delay till the product arrived.

This is the second time that I have used Boyd construction and restoration . The first was for a bathroom remodel, and they did a great job. This time was a much bigger project with the same fantastic results. They truly transformed a foreclosed home that I bought. As usual I found them to be neat, timely, professional and concerned that the job turns out right with quality workmanship! We experienced none of the problems that others have reported in dealing with contractors on big jobs; they started when they were supposed to,and always put in a full day's work, they completed the job when promised and at the price quoted. Even though we weren't living in the house at the time the workers treated our house with respect,always cleaning up after themselves. Mr. Boyd always returned our calls in a very timely manner, and addressed any issues that came up in a satisfactory way. Boyd's Price was competitive with others that I received and was more than fair. One of the things I had done was to cover a textured ceiling with new drywall and give it a smooth plaster finish. About a month after I had it done I got a email from Angie's list with the "special" to do the same job on the smaller room for a higher price than Mr. Boyd did it. When I first started thinking about this project I was going to bring in some other contractors to get some competitive bids . When I told my friends what I was thinking they told me I was crazy. If I was happy with his price and work why would I want risk it with another contractor. And they were right . I wish I could put up some pictures to show you how amazing things turned out. And yes I would recommend him!! As a matter of fact it looks like I'm going to be starting my third project with him I plan on adding a small addition to my house. Thanks Steve.

Workmanship was excellent. Crew was wonderful to work with. Very dependable, knowledgeable, careful to protect surrounding areas.

From the first phone contact the company was responsive. Estimate was received within 1 week of my initial contact. Project was scheduled and completed per estimate. Communication throughout was flawless. The gentlemen who completed the job were punctual, polite, and knew what they were doing! I could not be happier with the completed project. I will recommend Boyd's Construction without hesitation and will use again. This is a very professional company from start to finish.

Starting with the estimate process - Steve Boyd and his entire crew were extremely professional. The communication was consistent leading up to, and during the project which took just under a week total. The quality of their work is tremendous. The young men who worked on our project were very skilled, very polite and punctual. They tolerated two dogs and constant summer time traffic with our two boys and their friends. They cleaned up each day and they did things the RIGHT WAY. They could have taken the path of least resistance on some of the modifications, but they went above and beyond to do things in a way that they themselves would want the work done. While they were not the lowest estimate I had ( only reason for the B in the price category), they were absolutely worth the cost. I am a firm believer in getting what you pay for. We hired Boyd based on their Angie's List review, and it has justified our membership and validated the review process. I will recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors and will use them for some upcoming projects!

The entire interaction with Steve Boyd, Jen, Nate and Adam was one hundred percent positive. I had contacted Boyd Construction after finding the business on Angie's List. Steve came out promptly to review the project and offered a proposal and suggestions. I had already received two other estimates and proposals. I knew immediately that this was the company to choose. Steve was very professional, kind, courteous and knowledgeable and knew how to effectively complete the project. Jen was very pleasant and efficient in her email and phone conversations. Nate, a friendly employee who completed the project, did an outstanding job with the tile work and matching the grout color (which was perfect), and lastly Adam, who recently came to my home to repair a small leak that had occurred between the shower head and the wall...... a simple and quick fix. If I ever need any other repairs/remodels, this is the only company I will consider. Thanks for a job well done!

We highly recommend Steve Boyd Construction for any home remodeling job. What sets this company apart is the communication from Steve Boyd to the homeowner. He is very knowledgeable and thorough and keeps you informed from your first communication with him. Can't say enough about Adam, Eric and Nathan. These workers were professional, polite, respectful of your home, clean and neat. They were on site when they said they would be, and they were very punctual. This company treats your job as if they were doing it for themselves. High quality work!

An ice dam developed on our roof as a result of the severe winter. When it started to melt, it leaked into our bedroom and soaked the drywall and insulation in the outside wall. Steve Boyd personally came and evaluated the job. We received a reasonable estimate via email shortly after. I answered the email giving them the go-ahead. We scheduled a date and time and his drywall expert showed up on time. He was very professional and did a good job of minimizing dirt and dust. He did a terrific job on the drywall. You would never know anything had happened. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend them to others.

They're fantastic, amazing and great. They were a little bit with the higher end with the price but with the quality of work and how great they were I think sometimes it's okay. The owner came and test on everything on all times since people were working here. They also do appliance repair, builders, garages, bar and cabinet making, ceramic tile, doors, drywall and electrical.

Steve Boyd and his crew were extremely professional. They showed up when they said they would. They were respectful of our home and our needs to keep living during the remodel job. Steve communicated with us every step of the way. The fit and finish is nearly perfect, even with my uneven floors, walls and ceilings. They cleaned up everyday. The ripped out the old kitchen and floors, and installed new luxury vinyl flooring and cabinets. They installed new canned and pendent lighting. Everything looks beautiful. We would use Steve Boyd again and we highly recommend them.

The crew was very professional, neat and efficient. The job was very quickly completed and caused minimal disruption to my daily routine as they were able to work around my schedule and always had everything cleaned up when I returned home after work. The project was completed in 6 days. Communication with Steve was very easy and he was always available for discussion about how the project was proceeding and if any problems had come up. I would highly recommend them for remodeling and construction projects; I would not hesitate to use them again in my next project!

After choosing all of the cabinets and countertops, the process began with the kitchen tear out and wood floor install in the kitchen. We purchased some of the items (sink, faucet, decorative lights, and used our appliances and purchased only a microwave). The appliances were stored in the garage, and hooked up for as long as possible. We lived in the house during most of the remodel, and only left during floor staining and polyurethane. The company was very responsive to every question and concern, and everything within their control was performed efficiently and correctly. The only part that I wish was faster was the floor refinishing, but it looks so nice it was worth the wait. To me, the best part is that they are willing to work with you - as I said, I purchased some of my own items, and also wanted a quartz countertop so I purchased that separately. I also did my own painting and backsplash. They worked with me to get everything done and I so appreciated it! Steve has a great crew who works together to get it done. The kitchen looks great and it's hard to imagine what it looked like previously.

I was very impressed with everything. They were punctual, hard working professionals at the same time very friendly, comfortable to have working in my home. It was important to them that the work done met my expectations. They completed the work in very efficient time even after I added major changes close to the start date. They were very good about my last minute changes. I was always able to get my questions answered promptly. I couldn't have asked for better results, my bathrooms are beautiful. I am so glad I chose Boyd and will definitely choose them again.

I was very impressed with this companies professionalism, from the estimate to the speedy completion of the task. I couldn't be happier ! Every time I called with a question I either spoke to the owner or he called me back promptly. His crew cleaned up every night and respected my home and property. The extensive tile work looks phenomenal. They were more concerned with the details than hurry through the job. I had a couple of unforeseen tasks that that needed done in the middle of the job and Steve was very fair with his pricing. I have had good and bad with other contractors, but Boyd Construction was better than I could have ever hoped !

The workers were friendly, professional and competent. They were diligent punctual and careful. The work was completed quickly and with minimum disruption or noise. We are very happy with the result.

Boyd did a great job for us. Like anyone, I was hoping to get my projects done as soon as possible. They were busy this summer so it did take them a little longer to get started than I'd hoped but they worked quickly and efficiently while they were here on the job. They started the day on time and worked hard through it. And they were very respectful of our home and our family. They always took care to clean up. I felt totally comfortable having them in our home. And they did great work in our master bath! Steve and Adam were both great about informing me about my choices and potential outcomes along the way, so there were no surprises. Highly recommend!

Nefe and Adam were punctual, professional and did a fabulous job. We love our window! They cleaned up behind themselves and got the job done on time. My wife and I will definitely call Boyd Construction on our next project and we highly recommend their service!

Three people performed all the work. Covered area with drop cloth. Completed in 2 1/2 hrs including clean-up.

We weren't able to start the project because of some unexpected expenses. I saw Boyd Construction's excellent reviews on Angie's list I called the office and talked to Jen, who was so professional and answered all of my silly questions with great patience and concern. Steve came to our house and we were just as impressed with his professionalism. He spent a few minutes giving us a description of his company and how they work. He looked over what we needed done, took some measurements, asked appropriate questions and made us feel very comfortable allowing him and his employees to work in our home. He sent us a quote the next day, with attached diagrams and descriptions of all the work proposed. We will be calling them when we are ready to move forward with the remodel.

The Boyd Construction crew was professional! friendly and easy to talk to about the bathroom. They were always on time and very clean. I can not think of one bad thing to say about Boyd Construction!
