My elderly Mother was tricked into another company's pre-payment plan. They took $40.00 out of her checking account every month. They came twice a year, and she still had a bill to pay everytime. I kicked them out of her account and house, and found BEST. Mike came to the house, he was very professional. He cleaned and inspected the furance, it needed a $20.00 part, and was fine. Then he moved onto the hot water heater. He was on a mission. He could not see into the vent pipe. It is a very tight space, he tried different angles, a mirror, different lights. He was on a ladder, with his head stuck between duct work and a concrete block wall. At first he thought the vent pipe was blocked. In trying to clean it out, he discovered the reason he could not see it, was it had rusted away! He had me get up on the ladder and see for myself. I think that vent pipe had been rusted and broken off for years. It was dusty, and had spider webs on it. I could not, and can not thank Mike and Best Commercial enough for not only not stealing from my Mother, actually doing the job they were paid to do, but saving our family from a carbon monoxide tragedy.
