+ -1 moreThey were easy to schedule and did a good job moving my stuff before the installation (though it only took an hour and they have a 3 hour minimum charge). When they moved my stuff back in place after the floors were done, it only took about an hour & 1/2. So we decided to use them to help us organize some heavy boxes of books in our storage space with the extra time left from the 3 hours we had them scheduled. In the middle of that process, the owner, Tony was really rude to my husband and didn't want to do the work any more, even though we were paying him to do it. It was extremely unprofessional, and I will absolutely never hire him again or recommend him as a result of his attitude and rudeness. I also think he tacked on extra travel time, but I don't have absolute proof.
Description of Work: They moved my furniture into my basement & storage spaces before I had hardwood floors installed and refinished and then moved my furniture back into place after the floors were in.

+ -1 moreTony sent 3 guys out to move me: Desmond, Sherman and Josh. Those guys worked they guts out! In the 5 hours they were with me, they stopped only once for a water break! They were very courteous and conscientious of our belongings, very professional and very good at their work! Our new house is 4 stories, including the basement. I had them all over the house moving furniture and boxes, and they were more than willing to do it for me. I would definitely recommend Akron's Best to anyone relocating!
Description of Work: They loaded furniture from our 1 bedroom apartment, drove to our 10'x10' storage unit that was packed full, and loaded it and then unloaded everything into our new house.

+ -1 moreTONY AND HIS CREW OF 3 HELPERS ARRIVED ON-TIME AND OFFERED EXCELLENT HELP ALL DAY LONG. THEY RESPECTED MY WISH TO USE A SMALLER TRUCK SO TREES WOULD NOT BE DESTROYED. SPECIAL PIECES OF FURNITURE WERE MOVED WITH THE BEST OF CARE. NO PROBLEMS TO REPORT WHATSOEVER.
Description of Work: MOVED OUR HOME AND GARAGE BELONGINGS OF APPROX. 3,000 SQ. FT. TO NEW LOCATION.
