Description of Work: The owner came out same day and spent at least 2 hours fixing a problem from a previous fix. He also made some suggestions for other work that needed to be done (a new hot water tank) and gave me a referral to another contractor to have that work done. He took the time to instruct me on the work that he had done. I was shocked at how LOW the price was considering the amount of time he spent!

+ -1 moreB**** Myers, the owner, did the job in two days with only one helper (although he waited six months to check the AC duct temps based on the fact that it was almost November in Ohio). We had to call him back to put a clamp on the furnace condensate drain after it leaked and to swap out a valve on the AC coil after water started running down the side of the furnace cabinet. I blame both problems on Trane/American Standard, since B**** said he was told by the company that the first problem had been corrected with a new design and the second was part of a recall that Trane failed to tell him about as a stocking dealer of their products. My only issue with B**** is that I've to put in some new screws to hold up the PVC vent pipes from the furnace (he used really short screws on metal bracing between floor joists after the last interior 90-degree turn) and will have to replace a busted clamp holding the new AC line set to the basement ceiling.
Description of Work: We hired Advanced Climate Control to install an American Standard furnace and central air conditioning system in our home, based on a very good pricing (esp. compared to the local Trane dealer who was selling essentially the same equipment). They pulled a 20-year-old Carrier gas furnace from the basement and a two-ton Carrier outdoor AC compressor and replaced them with a Freedom 95 furnace and a 2.5-ton Allegiance 13 outdoor AC unit. The new furnace is high efficiency; that necessitated running PVC vent pipes out the besement wall to the outside and sealing up the old venting through the chimney. The install also included new AC coils and line set.
