We are a small family business of 4 employees. Our company has served the Akron area since 1929. No subs. Cost is determined by the job. Travel charges may apply if service is requested outside of Summit County. A Door discount is given for drop offs and you save the pick up and delivery charge. "We welcome your visit or phone call."

Services we offer

We do carpet cleaning in your home or business using the flush and extraction method with truck mount equipment. Orientals and all area rugs are cleaned in our plant using whatever method is necessary for the best results. All fringe is hand cleaned and necessary repairs are made after consultation. We clean furniture in customers homes unless customer brings to our plant. We offer fabric protection, moth spray, deodorizing, oriental rug pad etc.

They did an excellent job. My carpet is a light wheat/white color and it is 13 years old. When they were finished it looked like brand new carpet. They were professional and courteous. And they were very reasonable.

I received it back with a large two inch black spot that appears to be grease. I discovered the spot after I got it home and unrolled it. I immediately took pictures. I received the rug back on Friday. They are closed on the weekends so my husband called first thing Monday morning. My husband spoke with the owner's wife, Falon; she immediately hung up on him. He called back and spoke with the owner Tyler. Tyler said that we could bring the rug back to them to look at it. They have a pick-up service that normally picks it but they stated that they were business that week and it would be helpful if I would bring it in, so I did. When I called back about the stain, Tyler refused to come out and look at the rug after we got it back. He said he would quote give us some money back unquote and hung up. They cashed my check and my fear is that I will not get any money back. I would not use them again. The website states that they provide warranties which are false.
Description of Work: They cleaned my oriental 14x10 rug.

[removed member name] called us asking about our ability to remove wine. She said her mother in-law spilled it. We said that it was tricky depending upon how large the stain is, and how long it may have set into the wool. She brought the rug to us. You could barely see any stain, even though she gave us the impression like a whole bottle of wine had spilled on it. I was successful in removing the extremely small stain. She also requested rush service which I accommodated. She came to pick the rug up a few days later on Friday. I proceeded to transfer the rug to her vehicle. My wife got an unbelievably rude phone call from her husband blaming us for a grease stain on their rug. He was being very irate and loud to my wife. She hung up the phone because he was scaring her. He immediately called back which at that point I spoke to him. He first explained his complaint about the grease like stain. I told him to bring it back in so I could see what he was talking about and if I could get it out. He yelled at me saying, "You picked it up and dropped it off! You need to come back and get it!" I told him that his wife dropped it off and picked it up. He didn't seem to care that he had his information incorrect. I then told him that in our shop I do not work with grease or grease like materials, so that the stain must have been transferred when his wife took it out of their SUV. Their rug is 14ft x 10ft and is a very low pile wool. The rug could have easily drug on the ground at some point when they were taking it inside their home. He ferociously began to brag about how he has a lot of money and that his SUV couldn't be dirty(even though the interior was black), and that his garage to his home was so clean he said and I quote," My garage is so clean, you could eat off it." At this point I knew that he and [removed member name]were not going to be happy no matter what I could do or say. I ended the conversation in saying, " I'm sorry you're unhappy.We'll send back your money. Have a nice day." We sent them a FULL refund and asked that in the future they please try and use another cleaner. A week later my wife got a phone call from [removed member name] saying that she received the check and that she wanted to hear my wife admit guilt and that it wasn't about the "money" it was about the "principle". We are happy to say that we have not done work for them since. We wish them all the luck in finding a new oriental cleaning company.

He did a wonderful job. The carpeting which is a very light color looks terrific. It was dry within about six hours of the completion of the work. I would highly recommend this service to others.
Description of Work: He cleaned all of the carpeting in my house and scotch-guarded the height traffic areas. There were several areas that were highly souled.

All has gone well from the time I call until the time they leave here.
Description of Work: I have been using Acorn Carpet Cleaning services for the last 7 years. I tried another carpet cleaning company when I first moved to the area but was not happy. I then tried Acorn and have been totally pleased with them. They are very prompt and professional and ensure that they completely clean all areas of the carpets and rugs, including the corners! I highly recommend them.

We have been using Acorn for more than 20 years for carpet and furniture cleaning. In the twenty year history we have not had one negative experience. As a matter of fact this company has without missing a step performed above our expectations every time. We have gotten to the point of confidence in the company we are comfortable having them come to our house while we are gone to perform a service. We will exclusively use this company for carpet/furniture cleaning/repair as long as we live in the Akron area.

THE COMPANY PICKED UP, CLEANED and REPAIRED THE RUGS, THEN STORED THEM WITHOUT ADDITIONAL COST FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AND RETURNED THEM AT THE TIMES AND DATES WE REQUESTED. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH ACORN'S COURTEOUS SERVICE AND EXCELLENT WORK.
Description of Work: WE HAD 12 HAND-WOVEN ORIENTAL RUGS CLEANED AND 2 REPAIRED. CLEANING AND REPAIRS WERE VERY WELL DONE, AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. ONE LARGE AND ONE SMALL RUG NEEDED REPAIRS; THE LARGE ONE HAD GAPS THAT HAD TO BE CLOSED, AND THE SMALLER ONE REQUIRED NEW BACKING.

THEY WERE TO SPOT CLEAN MY ORIENTAL - IN THEIR SHOP. THEY MISTAKENLY CLEANED MY WHOLE RUG ( BEATIFULLY) BUT CHARGED ME NOTHING BUT DELIVERY COSTS.
