A-Best Termite & Pest Control is an award winning service company with the BBB. Our mission is to excede our customers expectations by providing the best service at a reasonable price. We are a locally owned and operated company serving the northeast Ohio areas of Summit, Portage and Medina counties. Our professional and experienced technicians are licensed by the Ohio Dept. Of Agriculture and use only EPA approved low odor materials. Our office staff answers all calls during normal business hours.. No answering service ! In addition we have a retail store providing products for the do-it-yourselfer with complete identification and instruction. A-Best looks forward to providing you relaible, personable service with no annual contract required.

John was here on time and very professional. He did exactly what was explained to me over the phone when I called his company. Didn't take long at all and he put my fears to rest about the spray affecting our animals. I would definitely hire this company again.

We had a problem with carpenter bees and mud wasp nesting in the eaves of the house. We called A-Best Pest Control to come and treat for them. They did a good job at taking care of the problem.

Service tech was punctual, knowledgeable, and addressed the problem. Tech applied pesticide (powder) at the entrance to the hive, which killed the colony within 3 days. Colony did not return. Tech was professional, and offered a return service call at no charge should the pesticide not eliminate the colony. Return visit was unnecessary.
Description of Work: Company was called to eliminate a bee colony that had built a hive in an interior space at the roofline.

A-Best leaves reports on termite activity each time they stop in to monitor the system and the team is very friendly and professional. Cost of services is very reasonable. They're reliable and we will continue to use them for all termite or other extermination needs!
Description of Work: A-Best has eliminated and is preventing return of termites at our rental house (which we lived in for 10 years). They have not returned, due to a monitoring system installed years ago. The team performs quarterly/seasonal inspections of the termite "traps". The cost of the service initially seemed fair and certainly worth it - it was a long time ago and can't remember how much it cost. Annually, the price is very reasonable - around $190 - to monitor the trap/bait system and recently they installed a new bait for free, we only had to pay for product. We also had a yellow-jacket infestation years ago they took care of.

We were repairing floor damage due to the termite problem and had A Best come out for treatment. They came out when we pulled up the floor boards so they could treat then.
Description of Work: They put out bait systems to treat termites. They are coming back this week to check it and put poison in the traps.

The phone was answered courteously, and cost and timing information was offered without having to ask. The workman showed up at the scheduled time, did the work, then took the time to look around to see if there were any other spots I hadn't found. He then took the time to explain what would happen to the nests and what I should expect to see. The bees disappeared within 3 days. I have only seen 1 wasp in the last 2 weeks.
Description of Work: They sprayed a bee nest which was located in the siding by front door and sprayed for wasps at the back deck.

I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD BE HERE BETWEEN 1-2. THEY CAME EARLY AND SPRAYED THE HOUSE EVEN THOUGH THE WINDOWS WERE OPEN. SOME MIST CAME INTO THE HOUSE AND SETTLED ON THE FURNITURE AND WINDOW SILLS.
