Upstate Home Improvements is the BEST!! The owner Val is absolutely fabulous to work with. He is a man of his word and cares more about the customer and doing the job the right way. He will do whatever it takes to have absolutely perfect results. All of his workers are hardworking, knowledgeable, and personable. They do a great job to the smallest detail. So NICE!! Val and his crew installed vinyl siding to upper half of our house.They did a very professional and neat job. I would highly recommend trying them out.

Val and his crew built an entire addition on the back of my house. Those guys know what they are doing! I could not ask for a better result. The whole thing is built to last, completely to code and exactly what I wanted. When they took down the old addition they found the source of cold air entering along several feet of the back of my house. They repaired it all, and this is the first winter I have not had cold drafts in the kitchen. Val and his crews worked with me during construction because I could not be there. Val was quickly responsive to texts and calls. The guys are awesome. Every day they picked up before they left, and they treated everything respectfully. I also had them install a roof over my deck, and replace the stairs with Trex. They ended up having to build out the front of my deck another foot or so, but they did it to match the existing deck and the whole thing looks great. Val even had a crew to re-point the chimney, and they did a fabulous job. For the first time in 25 years of owning the house, the roof does not leak around the chimney into the garage. I have had others repair it 3 times over the years, but always still had the problem. Val and his guys did an awesome job and I am so glad I called him. I am already planning more for them to do. Exactly what I needed

Val and his crew took over an early stage siding job on my home started by a prior contractor. They came immediately and wrapped my house to secure it from the elements. Then scheduled me for install within two weeks. The crew did an excellent job, completed it in just eight days, addressed all my concerns, and I'm very happy with the final result. The house looks great!

We have lived in our house for 30 years and our chimney has leaked from the start. We got it repaired many times and it seemed better for a while but then, after a big rain storm, it would leak again. Val from Upstate actually looked at the back of the chimney and found crumbling bricks and poor flashing, which they replaced. And they painted the chimney. (I had a contractor who said he wouldn't go up above the roof line--I have a very high chimney. They painted the whole thing.) And they cleaned up each day after they were done. I thought they were great.

Did the job in a timely manner. His workers did a great job. Looks way better than the original roof we had done. Would highly recommend them and will be calling them for our next project.

Val and his crew did an excellent job replacing our broken skylight. They were prompt, professional, and skilled workers. They cleaned up everything and hauled away all of the debris.

Owner Val K is just not only a heartfully committed owner, but he is also a dedicated worker. My wife Linda and I are grateful in having to experience quality work on our sunroof issue. Our sunroof fell off it's track in 2019 thoroughly repaired by Val and co. and fell off the track again in 2022, Val gave it another but more thorough repair and did not charge us a red cent. He wants happy customers. Val and his crew did a great job with my porch roof. They replaced the shingles with a role out roof to stop the leak. They also replaced the pillars and railings on my porch. They completed the job in 2 days. I would recommend this company.

I am very happy with the work that was done. Val was quick to respond to my posting and after assessing the problem with my roof, he offered a reasonable solution, including an excellent explanation of the work that would be done. He came when he said he would and completed the project within the time he promised. Every interaction was pleasant—Val is a good guy and I was grateful that I connected with him. That being said, it has not rained since he completed my roof so there has been no test. However, I am confident the work is well done and I did not want to delay my review any further.
