 + -1 moreI have used Talon since moving into my condo February 1, 2011. The day that I moved in, my boiler died. I got several estimates to replace the boiler. Talon's estimate was the most reasonable AND could be done most promptly; very important when being without heat in February! Billy kept in contant touch with me, advising me of when parts had arrived, etc. The job was done professionally and totally to my satisfaction. Since then I have called on Billy for other service issues. Most recently, Billy serviced my A/C unit. His prices are reasonable; his work is professional; he is respectful of my time and property. I would not hesitate to recommend Talon Heating and Cooling to others.

 + -1 moreI was completely satisfied with the level of service and the obvious experience of Billy. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. We have had hot water ever since.
Description of Work: My oil fired hot water heater would not start. He first asked me to check my oil tank, as that is a common problem and he didn't want to make a service call and charge me if there was nothing wrong. I had oil. He determined that the oil pump had seized and that the burner motor was fine. He showed my the problem. I got a quote and he happen to have the part in his truck. It was fixed quickly and at a reasonable cost.

 + -1 moreOur Lenox central air conditioning unit wouldn't kick on. I sent an online request to Talon and within 5 minutes I received a call back from Billy, it was approx. 10 pm! After describing the problem he explained what he thought the problems might be along with the different costs associated with each problem. He doesn't charge different hourly rates for different days of the week or for different hours of the day. He has a flat hourly rate, reasonable when compared to the others we spoke with. And his rate doesn't only apply to 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday! He does not charge extra for the weekend or for emergency calls. He arrived when he said he would and had us up and running in an hour. Now I have a new service man for all of my heating and air conditioning needs. I would highly reccommend him! A+
Description of Work: After troubleshooting the system and checking all of the electrical conections he determined that the condensor was bad and that the freon needed to be topped off. He changed the condensor added a pound of freon and we were good to go,
