 + -1 moreI chose Seek a Geek from Angie's List as I did not have a previous computer repair shop. They did a great job in diagnosing my problem and also removing the spyware and adware that was causing the problem. The work was done in a very timely manner and the owner called me the next day and spent the time to explain how I could protect my computer in the future. I would certainly recommend Seek a Geek to anyone.
Description of Work: A complete diagnostic was done on my desktop as it was running slowly and an error message was appearing upon startup concerning my hard drive.

Description of Work: Adam set up my computer system at home over 10 years ago and has repeatedly updated, trained and helped me with my computer since then. He is a pleasure to work with. He is very knowledgeable and tailors your equipment to your needs and competence. I have bought several computers, lap tops and notebooks from him and totally satisfied.

 + -1 moreHe is a really good guy around here for computer repair. He is absolutely wonderful. My old computer was about 11 years old and Adam had worked on it repeatedly. I started looking online to buy but I wasn't sure what I exactly needed because I am not a technical; so I went to Adam and we spoke. He asked me what functions I use and created a system by putting various components for me. They are pretty responsive but very, very busy. It is difficult to get a home appointment but you can bring your computer into their shop and they'll work on it. I think they work 24 hours a day and it's amazing. He works during daytime, nighttime and weekends. I've had great experience with them.
Description of Work: I used Seek A Geek Inc. for computer repair. What I did in the beginning of this year is I actually had him build me a new computer.

 + -1 moreThey sent a PC tech who was very pleasant but didn't know anything about Mac computers. She spent a lot of time on the phone with her office trying to understand how my computer worked. WI-FI was installed and works well, but the technician's knowledge of the Mac system was poor.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE ALL VERY PLEASANT. HE WAS A VERY NICE PERSON. HE CAME TO MY HOUSE WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD BE HERE, AND HE TOOK THE COMPUTER. HE TRIED HARD TO GET THE COMPUTER TO WORK, BUT IT WOULDN'T.
Description of Work: IT WOULDN'T TURN ON. IT WAS BEYOND REPAIR, SO THEY COULDN'T FIX IT. THEY LOOKED AT IT, BUT DECLARED IT WAS BEYOND REPAIR.
