I was pleased with Ed's communications and estimate. I would have been confident to use this kind of home improvement company which had high ratings on Angie's list and may call on J&E in the future. I didn't use J&E as I had another estimate from another highly rated Angie's list home improvement company. This company (the one I used) came in a bit lower on the installation price which included taking away all rubbish including the vanity base, top, lights, faucet, etc.. whereas J&E would have another company take away everything for $150. Angie's List should give an option of N/A for the Overall rating.

They're the company that I used and that I really liked. They're very dependable. They cleaned up after themselves. They seemed to know what they were doing. They do mostly home repair and maintenance. They're reliable. When I called them and left a message, they called me back. If they have a problem with their appointment or if they can't make it, they usually call me and let me know their problem. They're very accommodating. I've recommended them to a couple of other older people and senior citizens. Sometimes their price seemed a little high but it depends on what I want them to do.

We've used their service before for a bathroom. They were very good. As an example of how happy I was with them they went above and beyond because I had purchased really plush carpet with double padding and because of this, the closet doors wouldn't close and they came out two weeks later and reinstalled the doors and needed to actually cut all of them to fit. They did not charge for this additional work. Their prices are really competitive. They were impeccably clean. They did really excellent work; you can't see any seams in the basement walls. I would highly recommended them. They are an A+.

Scheduling was fine and the quality of the work was very good. They showed up when the said they would and completed the work in the time frame they indicated. There were no extra charges and I would recommend them to others. They have competitive pricing.

It was absolutely flawless! They were at my house every morning exactly when they said they would be. They are completely approachable and conscientious of their work. I was very comfortable having them in my home, and trusted them to be there when I could not be. My bathroom is beautiful and I could not be happier!

It went very well. There was a small problem with the front porch but they fixed immediatetly.

I found J & E on another site, sidegig.com They came over and were very knowledgeable and most of all very personable. After interviewing five other contractors I hired Joe and Ed of J & E. The good news and bad news. The good news is, they appear to be very good since they are booked up and could not start my job for 2 1/2 months. The bad news is, I couldn't wait. I will definitely consider them for my bathroom remodel when I do that job. It was a pleasure dealing with them as they were professional and after I told them that I was going to have someone else do my kitchen they still offered me advice that I should have my contractor take care of. I can see why they are booked solid.

I called them for information on a repair. I already hired someone else becuase they returned my call faster. The man on the phone gave me all kinds of advice on what I should and shouldn't. He was so helpful and if I ever need the help in the future, I will be calling them for service.

The people of J & E Quality Home Improvements Inc came on time and gave a good impression. They gave it in writing. They were very good with tile work.

They did a great job communicating and arranging the estimate. Their price was just a bit too high.

They were very good and did a good job. The communication was great and they showed up on time. The pricing was right. I was able to work with them on a very good basis because my husband was away part of the time. It was great and they cleaned up after themselves. They were very capable. We would definitely use them again and I would recommend them to my friends.

They had to come back for unexpected things, that did amount to extra money, but I felt was reasonable for what they had to do. With the amount of man hours they put in, the cost was very reasonable. They are really excellent. We've had them work for us a number of times in the past, and we always go to them for this kind of work.

Ed and Joe did a fantastic job. Our bathroom is small and there were many adjustments they needed to make so that everything fit perfectly. They completed the job in 5 days, as promised, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They were always professional and willing to do touch-ups.
