I highly recommend Dominic's services at Strongman! He has been servicing our pool for 2 years now and does an amazing job. He is knowledgable, kind and reliable. He opens our pool, comes weekly and closes it. He is extremely dependable and great at communication. If i have a problem i can contact him and he fixes it right away! A lot of people can service a pool, but what sets Dominic apart is his personality. Very kind, considerate and someone i feel comfortable having access to our property when i am not home.

After being hung up on by two other companies when I mentioned how simple the project was and several no answers, Dominic dropped what he was doing to walk me through it quickly and help me out in a tight spot. Unbelievable professionalism and incredible knowledge. I absolutely recommend him!

Very well Very professional job

We were concerned initially because of the high quoted price. But our 90-year-old house's roof and gutters likely hadn't been taken care of since the house was built, and we had some difficulty finding a roofer who seemed comfortable and knowledgeable in dealing with tiled roofs and copper-lined boxcar gutters. The work required was extensive, but the crew took their time, obtained proper materials, and did an artisan's job with which we were pleased, and for which we were grateful. Strongman even offered to clean the gutters and downspouts after all the leaves have fallen for no added charge, and to set up a contract for regular Spring and late Fall maintenance, which we will happily take them up on.

We were in constant communication and he arrived when he said he would. Dominic went above and beyond. He was fast and efficient. He also provided his expert recommendations for necessary future repairs. His pricing is ''spot on". He charged exactly as my "local" guys would have charged. I definitely intend to use him above and beyond anyone else for future maintenance and/or repairs. Dominic does quality work and I would highly recommend him to others.

Very satisfied. Dominic Paolo and Strongman Services do it all. This reputable home improvement company has done an excellent job maintaining and servicing our in-ground swimming pool. From opening and closing it, to weekly cleanings and chemical maintenance, these guys really know their stuff. Was very impressed with their ability to permanently correct a pH balance issue that had been recurring during the hottest summer days -- something our prior pool guy was unable to do. Strongman Services are quick to respond to service calls, and they're reliable. I highly recommend them.

Dominic and company were very professional. All work was done in a timely manner and exceeded expectations. Especially the opening of the wall between my kitchen and living room. I live in a small ranch style home and I wanted to create a more open flow concept in the home. Strongman services did an amazing job with this. Domininc beautifully crafted the wood pillars and wood shelf of the opening in the wall himself. Since the completion of our renovations our home is so much more enjoyable and we have received many compliments on the work done.

I've been doing business with Dominic for years. He is a consumate professional as I had a problem pool. My pool is now a salt water pool and whenever of if ever there is a problem, Dom knows exactly what to do and in a cost effective way. He has even gone beyond the call of duty as he also sets up all my pool furniture for no additional charge. I would never consider using anyone esle!

Dominic Paolo runs his business in a professional and courteous manner. He is very knowledgeable about maintaining a pool and any repairs that may be required. His pricing is very competitive, and he is responsive to a client's needs. We have been using his services for the past 2 years, and plan to use him again for the upcoming pool season. We would highly recommend him to others.

I call him frequently. He just cleaned it before winter set in and it was fine. I need some work done for the spring so I will be calling him shortly. The price is always reasonable. I haven't had any problems with the feeling that I've been overcharged. The quality of work is excellent. Of course I wouldn't bother calling him back if the quality wasn't good.

We had to call him back the same day, because the heater went off again. He came back that day. My heater is not that old, and we are still having problems. We have had to shut off our gas, and the heater is now out due to his illegal fixes. He has come out several times, and the problem is not fixed. I have tried to get in touch with him repeatedly regarding this, but he is unresponsive

This is actually a handyman posing as a company. He (Dominique) is not licensed nor any evidence of insurance.Yet the biggest issue with this company is that lack of punctuality and sloppiness. Add to that the attitude. Their prices was the lowest but it matches the quality of work. We just ran into the response from the contractor. Let us make some clarifications. First of all we have no personal vendetta against any entity or persons though we were not pleased with the services and the combating response to any concerns we had. The owner is not a licensed plumber nor as far as we can determine is this a licensed plumbing company. This may or may not be a licensed general contracting business but that was not what we were talking about. In terms of the insurance, a proof was not produced despite our requests. We would be happy to update our comment if an insurance certificate is produced; especially one that was issued to a licensed plumber. I must add that after hiring a licensed plumber in for our business property, the deficiencies were corrected and the project was successfully completed. It also worked better for us to work with an entity that has a company hierarchy rather than evolving around one person. We have a list of other grievances about our additional encounters with this particular entity but we will wait for a resolution and refrain from going into detail at the present time.

I had shopped around for a while, and while Dominic's quote wasn't the lowest, he stood buy it. The job didn't turn out to be as simple as Dominic initially thought, since there was some wiring that needed to be done that he didn't anticipate having to do, but to his credit he stuck with his initial quote and in the end the heater was installed and working fine. Considering that it's hard to find pool guys willing to come to the Bronx to do relatively small jobs, I was very happy to find Dominic and would recommend him to others.

Very happy with the work. I had previously tried out Strongman services when he repaired the cartridges in my shower diverter and also replaced the kitchen sink faucet. I felt he was honest and didn't try to make a small job a huge one like many contractors do. When our oil fired hot water heater expired a few months later, we called Dominic and he replaced it. Everything went smoothly. I felt the price was fair and the work was good. He is also conscientious about cleaning up and making sure the job is done right. I would definitely use him again.

Dominic and his team did an excellent job on our bathroom renovation. He came in on time and on budget and exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Everything from the tile work to the paint looked even better than expected. He went above and beyond to make us happy. Even when we had last minute delays in our cabinet delivery and changes to the design of our shower niche, he made us comfortable and was accommodating to our needs. I was amazed at how clean and dust free our house was every day throughout the process, even when demoing a 50 year old bathroom! You couldn't even tell they had been there that day! Dominic always followed up with me at the end of the day on progress made and next steps and kept to schedule and budget throughout. Truly the best experience I have ever had through a renovation project. I would not hesitate to use Dominic and his team again. True professionals!

He found the problem with my spa and the part was ordered. Made appointment to come back but will call to make sure the parts arrived.

Very good and responsive service

Strongman Services did a bathroom renovation for me and I must say they did a perfect job. The two man crew renovated my main floor bathroom from start to finish in a professional, sanitary and cost effective matter. They were on time, polite, considerate of my home and time as well as my 90 year old father. My bathroom was at best horrible, with water damaged in the ceiling and tiles from 1950 the year the house was built. Strongman Services came in and corrected the plumbing, and then demolished the old bathroom and rebuild a beautiful new bathroom. The new bathroom was build to accommodate my Dad so the bathtub was removed and replace with a walk in shower and a comfort toilet. Strongman Services did a great job, I would rate them A+ and recommend them to everyone. Going forward this is my new go to contractor and will use them for all my home projects.

Dominic and his team were great. They responded very fast to my initial inquiry and were flexible in working with my busy schedule. We discussed a number of options for running the new gas pipe for almost 45 minutes. Dominic took this time to walk me through all the pros and cons knowing there was no commitment for me to accept the quote he provided. Once the work started the quality was nothing short of spectacular. Even when faced with some unforeseen challenges (extra parts required, challenging routing paths for the pipe), Dominic and his team worked through all the issues with ease. I was so impressed with the work that I actually asked them to reroute a water spigot that was strangely located within my garage. They came back a couple of days later and completed both jobs quickly. There were a couple of times that some of their other jobs ran behind schedule so Dominic and his team were a little late getting back to my job. However, this can be attributed to their desire to perform quality work and ensure everything is fully tested and the work area is spotless prior to leaving. Another time a severe thunderstorm prevented them from showing for a previous scheduled appointment but this should in no way be a poor reflection of their commitment. Dominic was always in constant communication via email or phone to let me know when he would arrive. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dedicated team that really does care about delivering the best quality work to their clients.
