Description of Work: I still feel a grievance with this painter many years after he had been at my house painting. And it's not about the workmen that he hired, but about the owner himself. The workmen in the end actually did a fairly good job of painting, particularly a stairway hall that had a very high ceiling and required scaffolding. Another bathroom ceiling they did is cracking already however. One of the first things that really upset me about this company was that they painted directly over a very moldly ceiling. They were supposed to completely remove the moldy sheet rock, but instead nailed this rotten sheet rock back onto the ceiling and painted directly over the mold. A relative of mine living in the house hired him and the owner really gouged her on the price I believe because she is elderly and he thought naive. When I complained about the mold issue, the owner wanted to dissuade from my attempts to have it done properly and he did something very nasty that I can't even write-out here. I would suggest that anyone considering this painter exercise a lot of caution and get multiple estimates beyond them. The person who originally told us about them now realizes that he had ripped them off as well and would also never use them again.
