Description of Work: 4/7/11, plumber visited my house for free estimate on gas heat conversion. 4/15/11, he took 1 wk to provide cost estimate and only after i call about it. note this is the last time i was able to speak with him. 4/18/11, i asked for revised estimate due to discount stated on their website which they forgot to include or mention in original estimate. i gave them my credit card info for downpayment and assumed that they had began the paperwork needed to actually start the work. they have to notify nyc building dept and coned. 4/20/11, i asked for revised estimate due to change in my preference on the products order. i wanted a weil-mclain gas heat boiler instead of a dunkirk boiler. 4/27/11, it took them 1 wk and numerous calls by me for a reply; they increased the cost estimate by $1200. i tried to discuss this big increase in price with the plumber and again he failed to reply. 5/4/11, i found out that they never started the paperwork needed to do the gas heat conversion, which take about 6-7 wks; i wanted to speak with the plumber handling my workorder and asked the secretary to have him call me; again , unable to reach the plumber, i finally called the office late afternoon and the secretary said that the plumber and the owner peter grotto felt that they can't help me afterall and suggested that i use another heating contractor/plumber. i wasted almost 1 month with them when i could have use another heating contractor that is more reliable and more accessible. don't use them esp if you need something done promptly.

Description of Work: model 30 extrol tank - plumbing supply cost $35.00 retail labor cost $300.00 for installation - 15 min. job
