Lumber Liquidators had a nice share and I bought so many boxes for the wood floor, and I called someone else up and they came to install it, but it took so long. I don’t know if it was because of the hurricane that came through New York or that’s just how they operate.
Description of Work: I sold me hardwood flooring. I remember what they did was sold me the wood floors and you have to get someone to install it. They had a list of people and I had called a couple of them up. One of them had given me a good price. I called them and they came and did I’d say “B” work, because this was during the time of hurricane Stanley here in New York; and instead of it taking them like two weeks, it seemed like a month or a month and a half. The “B” was for the installation company not Lumber Liquidators.

Provider of my laminate flooring materials, plank and trim. They saved me at least $200.00 by telling me that if I purchased the flooring the next day, I would save 20% because of a sale starting then. The materials where provided as described and were ready when my contractor was there to pick them up. There were much fewer broken pieces than I would have expected and the floor is beautiful.

We bought $7,000 worth of an engineered wood floor from Lumber Liquidators. The floor is promoted to be the most durable, scratch resistant floor in its class. The promotion page in its website talks about the 100 year transferable warranty and how this floor meets the needs of a demanding household. What a crock. In only two weeks after installation, the floor is scratched and dented. It really can't withstand anything. At that point I delved deeper into the site to find out that they recommend not wearing shoes in the house and covering a pets claws with vinyl covers. I guess it's only durable if you treat it like a ceiling and not a floor. I've filed a claim/complaint with Lumber Liquidators so I will see how they handle this situation before I give their final rating. We purchased the floor because it claimed to be so durable and scratch resistant - NOT!!!! As a result of my experience, I did some additional research and found out that apparently there a lot of people unhappy with the product they've received from LL. I never thought to check out if there were any class action lawsuits filed against them before buying a floor. We are sick about it. This is very disappointing.

I had called and paid for the floor to be measured and a price set for installation of one floor and on staircase. I requested that the floor be leveled. The worker Artie stated that he would speak with his installers and let me know if the work could be done and the price. He stated it would be a few days. I waited 2 weeks and call Lumber Liquidator and reported what had happened. The installer Artie called back the next day, apologized and stated he would return the information by the end of the day or the next. A week later I got a call from the company to see if I was aware of the status of my work request. They stated that the installer had contacted them and that they could not do the work. I reported that I was never informed by the installer. I have requested the return of my 35 dollar measuring fee. By the way I never got the measurements that I was charged for.
Description of Work: Installer measured and work needed gave a ruff oral estimate and stated he would return with full price and scope of work

I had picked out hardwood flooring in the store and arranged for an inhouse estimate to be done. I had been advised that there was no hardwood underneath the existing carpeting in the living and dining rooms. However, when the estimator arrived and pulled back the carpet, there was hardwood floor underneath. It was of good quality but needed refinishing. One hiccup on the first day of floor refinishing: my appointment was set for 8:30 am; I received a call at 7:00 am from the refinisher, who was already at the house (I had not moved in yet and was not there). I advised him that my appointment was for an hour and a half later. Needless to say, this disrupted my schedule, as I arrived as soon as I could. I called the office to find out why this had happened, but of course no one was there at that hour to answer the phone. Although the day did not get off to a good start, the work was done well and the floors turned out very nicely.

I was impressed with the wide variety, pricing, and excellent customer service provided by Osaghie and the team from Lumber Liquidators. I visited Lumber Liquidators several times over the course of the past year while I planned my apartment renovation. The assistant manager, Osaghie was a wealth of information, provided hardwood samples and generally made me feel confident in my ultimate selection of both the Strand Qing Dragon Bamboo flooring and the nail-down method for installation. My renovation was behind schedule and they warehoused my order with no additional charges, until the contractor was able to pick up the wood. The pricing was excellent and the floors look great.
Description of Work: Lumber Liquidators sold me hardwood (Bamboo) flooring with the underlayment and nail gun staples to complete the job on my co-op apartment. My general contractor handled the floor installation.

The guys in Albany were very friendly profession. It took about a week for the order to be delivered to Yonkers, NY which was the closest store to my Co-op. Went to pick up the wood at Yonkers at 3pm and didn't get helped until approx. 5pm. The Yonkers store closed at 315pm in order to clean their storage room. They spilled glue to where they were not able to operate a forklift. After 2 hours of waiting and watching them staring at each other wondering what to do, they finally shoveled the glue into a can and came out to load my truck. I now accidents happen, but after watching them operate the forklift, I can see how they keep dropping things. I was compensated by receiving a hardwood cleaning kit.
Description of Work: Bought 450 square feet of Beech hardwood flooring at the Albany, NY Lumber Liquidators. I bought in Albany because I have a house up in Saratoga Springs and I was remodeling my Co-op in Riverdale.
