Hunter and his crew just finished our renovation project and everything came out perfect. We did 3 bathrooms, the kitchen, painting the bedrooms. And some other projects. Hunter was always available even after hours for any questions I had throughout the job. HDR gave a fair price, and did an excellent job in my home.

I found HDR online and Hunter and his crew did not disappoint! HUGE kitchen, resort style bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and a walk in closet so big that my girlfriends call it a dressing room. I was so scared at the beginning of the project knowing how tall my order was, however, everything went so smooth. Hunter made sure to communicate with us everyday and helped with all the design work. The work is amazing! My house looks like it is been taken out of a catalog!

Renovated 2 Bathrooms & kitchen and painted the entire home. Helped pick out all finishes & handled the permit paperwork. Remained completely professional especially during these times. HUNTER also made sure each staff member remained with masks at all time to ensure everyoneâ s safety. Iâ m totally satisfied with my overall experience with this company. Hunter and his crew finished our extension last month. They renovated some of the existing areas and build us a new two story addition. My wife was nervous about the project at the beginning but Hunter and his crew took every precaution to protect our home throughout the entire process. They set up plastic barriers and drop clothes when working inside and cleaned up every day. When building the addition they were able to build most of it from the outside before opening up the back wall space into the new addition. We are very happy with our new home and enjoy showing it off to our family and friends.

We are so happy that we chose HDR Contracting to build our addition. They created enough space to add another HUGE bedroom, master bathroom suite, and a walk-in closet. My husband and I were comparing the costs of buying a bigger home v.s. building the addition. Doing the addition was a no brainer! We saved a ton of money and got a much bigger home that we love.

Hunter is great, always makes sure weâ re happy with the work and keep us updated with the progress, let us know what the guys are going to do tomorrow and explaining every step. Also helped us with design and advice us whatâ s easier to maintain. Also very important, my mom is elderly and I was worried having ppl working in the house - hunter made sure the guys always have their face mask on & social Distancing. They are all very respectful and friendly too. And, the most important is that everything is beautiful exactly like what I was asking.

HDR Contracting just finished our project and we are so happy with our new home! The entire crew is very skilled and professional. They even stayed certain evenings until 6 or 7 pm !!!! I was shocked, Hunter was actually able to finish the project 3 weeks ahead of schedule! We did a gut renovation of the entire home. 2 and a half bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, painting, custom built-ins ..... the whole nine yards. HDR even handled pre-existing code violations with plumbing and electrical. Hunter honored his price guarantee written in his contract and corrected the violations free of charge. My wife and I were living in the house during construction, and they were able to renovate in 2 phases. This saved us a ton of money and headaches not having to move out during the renovation. They set up plastic to minimize the dust and swept the job site clean at the end of every workday. Hunter was always available to talk or text (even if it was evening time), to answer any of my questions. He even took us shopping for tiles, kitchen cabinets, and finishes. If you are looking for a hassle-free contractor who stays true to his word, then I highly recommend HDR Contracting for your next home renovation.

Below is my honest experience with this company. Since this review was posted, I have been repeatedly harassed to remove it by the owner. I had to prove to Home Advisor that I was telling the truth which I did and this review has been re-posted based on my proof. He even went as far as having a lawyer send me a letter to remove it. It s been very emotionally taxing to have to deal with this after writing an honest review. It makes me wonder if there are others out there who he has bullied into taking down a review that he didn t like. Painting: These are not professional painters and it shows. I had paint all over my floors, my furniture, and it was uneven and had to be redone a few times. Spots were missing and I had to go around and inspect every little area to make sure that the painting happened. I had to specifically request that they cover my furniture after spending the day cleaning paint off of it. This should be a given and should have happened before I even asked. I also asked them to use painters tape, and he refused (probably because it takes considerable time to do it the right way). I am still not totally satisfied with the paint job, but I had to just accept it. Accountability: Nothing is ever their fault --every issue that I had (including having them redo painting in some rooms) was something that they claimed that I did, or the walls weren t straight, or something. It was never something that they may be needed to take more care with. A lot of the work appeared to be rushed and done carelessly, and there was no accountability for that on the part of the company. Punctuality: As a person working from home, the arrival time of the team in the morning had an impact on my day. I had to be sure that I was up and showered and ready before they arrived. Sometimes this meant waking up 2 hours before I normally would. It was very frustrating to wake up early to accommodate them, to only be sitting there waiting and waiting for them to arrive. In my opinion, in a three week time frame, they did not arrive on time ONCE. The owner had an excuse every day about traffic and long lines at Home Depot. To this I said, plan ahead. Why are you scrambling in Home Depot in the morning? As someone who has worked my entire life, I have always left early enough for work just in case I hit traffic or something unexpected happened. He did not seem to think his punctuality was expected or a big deal if he was not on time. Organization: There were SEVERAL times throughout this 3-4 week project that the workers did not have things that they needed or the schedule was all over the place. The owner seemed to be making decisions nightly about what the plan was for the next day. As someone living in the home during the renovation, this was extremely frustrating to not know how to plan my day until the night before. I think that the men that work for this company would have done a better job if their materials and schedules were more organized. Professionalism: While the owner is available and accessible by phone, I could hear his kids screaming in the background on almost every phone call. I get that we are working from home now, but I still manage to conduct myself professionally. He is a nice guy, but can be visibly frustrated by things that may not go perfectly. You can hear frustration in his voice when he doesn t get his way. Please hear my words of caution: if you do not plan on writing a 5 star review, this company will attack your life.

HDR Contracting renovated my living room, master bedroom, painted a bathroom, and re-floored an entry hallway. Hunter and his crew were completely professional and always punctual. Hunter monitored the job progress daily and was readily available for my questions. The project was completed on time; the work was excellent and fulfilled all my specifications. I will definitely hire HDR for future projects and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering a household project.
