Description of Work: We purchased a washer and dryer from Home Depot but they refused to install it because the doorway was narrow and the appliances had to be lifted over a 30" counter to get to the installation spot. We called Curto's and they supplied the same appliances at a better price. Installation occurred as promised without a problem. Follow up service was helpful and professional. We are done with big box stores.

+ -1 moreWe needed a new dishwasher. Had researched online and knew the one we wanted - a Bosch. We called around to the stores in the area that carried Bosch. No one had it in the showroom so that we could see it in person before we purchased it. When I called Curto's it was the same deal, but the gentleman on the phone gave me a lot of information, a good price, and was very kind. The following week, we went into the store, and we were able to see a similar dishwasher to the one we wanted. The salesperson honored the price I was given over the phone, and was patient, kind, and informative as we made our final decision. He took the time to look into any available rebates (there was one!) to save us more money. Delivery was conveniently scheduled for the following Saturday (so happy we did not have to take a day off from work) and the delivery men were friendly and efficient. Overall very good experience. Will shop at Curto's again and recommend to friends!

+ -1 moreI was more than happy to shop at a local business as opposed to a big box store. Curtos' prices were in line even with the online sellers. I dealt with Linda, and the personal service was terrific! She made several suggestions that not only saved me money, but made more sense for my needs! I purchased all my appliances, microwave, range, dishwasher and refrigerator there and could not be more pleased! Also service plans were offered on each of the appliances. In addition they were very helpful in holding off delivery as my cabinets were running over 20 weeks for delivery. Ultimately I had them delivered earlier early as my rebates would have run out.

When there was a small problem with the refrigerator, they said it was under warranty and they set up an appointment to have it serviced. They're a very responsible firm.

+ -1 moreDelivery was on time - after the initial delay. The installers called in advance and they arrived exactly as promised. They removed my old washer/dryer and cleaned out the dryer exhaust. Very capable and courteous.
Description of Work: Purchased new LG front load washer/dryer. Researched prices and products on internet and found that Curto's had one of the lowest prices. Called showroom and spoke to Bob. He was very helpful in explaining the product and service warranty issues. Purchased over the phone that day. The only hitch was that the delivery was scheduled for Tuesday and I was called the previous Saturday and told that the appliances wouldn't be available for another two days.

Description of Work: We recently bought a washer and dryer from Curto's. We have been customers of this company for many years. I completely trust them—we have bought a Sub-Zero refrigerator from them, a Bosh dishwasher, and our G.E. Profile Washer and G.E. Profile Dryer from Curto's. We like the G.E. Profile line. Their installation was great: the men who did it were punctual, smart, ended up doing a lot of electrical work because our apartment is in an old building with poor wiring—we would have had to bring in an outside electrician had we used another retailer—and cleaned up superbly. A good contrast is Sears. Several years ago we tried to buy a dishwasher from Sears in Yonkers. Their delivery was so bad that we ended up canceling the order: their delivery staff was stupid, inept, discourteous, and acted as if we, the customers, were the least important people in the process. I will never buy from Sears in Yonkers at the Cross County Mall again. We ended up at Curto's, bought our Bosh dishwasher, more expensive than Sears, but a great machine.

+ -1 morePricing was great. They price matched what I gave to them. Payment by CC, though they didn't like that I used AMEX since AMEX charges them more. Delivery went fine... they even dropped off my old fridge to my parents house for $30. HOWEVER, my Dishwasher's door was mis-aligned once we opened it. They wouldn't even-exchange it. Had to get a replacement through GE's warrenty program. Got it. This one is fine. So, ultimately happy. But it delayed install by weeks.

+ -1 moreMy dishwasher went out 5 days before Christmas. I called Curto's after other major stores couldn't help me. They scheduled delivery for me for the following day before I even got there to purchase the dishwasher, and the dishwasher was installed the next day. Because they were an independent store they were able to provide more responsive service. I was amazed with their customer service and I would highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreResearched many on-line providers. Decided on Curto's given the length of time in business and rating on Angie's List. Discussed pricing with Jonathan. Traveled to their store to place the order in person although that was not necessary. They processed the order and set a delivery date. They followed up during the interim period to be sure that the site would be ready for the appliances on time. They delivered as committed. The delivery went smoothly and appliances were delivered undamaged. Everything works perfectly. Excellent service and pricing.

I visited their showroom and found the staff (father and son) to be knowledgeable and sincere. I ended up buying all my appliances from them because they matched quotes I had received from other companies. They deliver to Manhattan.
