Being a new homeowner can be daunting. Initially I called a large HVAC company to service my central AC units. When one of the units failed, they wanted to charge significant prices to investigate the issue. I knew it was unreasonable so I went on Angie’s list and found Joe. He arrived the day I called him - he found time in his busy schedule and offered to come past 6pm. He found the issue right away and clearly explained all my different options. I felt very comfortable w him. He is pleasant and knowleable. But the best part is he’s honest and won’t try to upsell you.

CJ Mechanical came very quickly (on Memorial Day weekend!). Joe went over all of the possible reasons that my central A/C was not working. He could have had my purchase a new unit since mine is 20 years old, but he found one part could be replaced for $175.00 instead! Very honest I recommend CJ Mechanical HIGHLY!

The worker dug deep to understand the problem, and didn't jump to conclusions. I value that highly in a technician. The end result was that the problem turned out to be simple, and he saved me alot of money.

Jimmy was very responsive and came the same day as we reached out to check our air conditioning as it was acting up after starting it up for the season. He quickly identified the issue and was able to repair it in the same afternoon. He also has tremendous customer service, checking in with us that night and again a few days later to see if it was back to working as expected. We also worked with him back in November 2017 to replace an HVAC duct with a narrower duct to allow for installation of a taller washer/dryer unit than we'd previously had. Again, he was quick and tidy, and the pricing was fair. We'd highly recommend him!

Joe came to our aid on a Sunday when our furnace of 31 years suddenly failed (it didn't owe us anything at this point). Other HVAC companies would only come with crazy Sunday overtime charges or the next business day. Unfortunately the unit couldn't be saved so we had to replace it. Joe was very helpful in explaining our options and gave great suggestions. He is extremely thorough in all communications. He is always on time, super neat and tidy. We would highly recommend his company to anyone looking for any of your HVAC needs.

After so many disappointing experiences with other HVAC guys giving me the runaround, finally found someone who knew how to work with my system as it is even though it's a hot mess and he made it work! He's brilliant and has reasonable prices. Now I have a proper system working as it should.

This last time, I called the company, they set an appointment, they came out on time, gave me an estimate and I hired them. They completed the job and I have had no issues.

He tore out a section of our HVAC ductwork and recreated a shallower, but wider section, to accommodate new appliances. He arrived on time, worked quickly, and left the area very neat.
