 + 1 moreEverything was perfect from the day they started. We established a routine for the workers to come in, whether or not we were home. Throughout the entire time, Demetrius kept us informed as to what was done that day and what was going to be done in the upcoming days. We were able to schedule any deliveries or other services around their work. On their last day, they worked nearly 12 hours until the job was done and left everything neat and clean.
Description of Work: I have used Cee Dee in the past to redo the hardwood floors in my living and dining rooms. The work done back then was perfect, sealing off rooms to prevent dust and odor to other parts of the house, and the floors came out beautiful. Recently, after careful consideration to our basement renovation, and calling 2 local contractors, it was my husband's idea to contact Demetrius at Cee Dee. He showed up within a few days to give us an estimate and we were able to discuss and change some ideas. Work began in mid September and except for 4 agreed upon days, Demetrius and his two loyal and professional workers showed up by 9:30am and worked tirelessly for approximately 9 hours each day. A new sheetrock ceiling was installed in the basement, walls repaired, installed and framed 2 doors, hung track lighting and installed a floating floor and laminate flooring throughout the entire basement, walls were primed and painted. In all, it was huge job and we are extremely happy with the result. After nearly 4 weeks at our house, Demetrius, Mo, and Nigel did all they could to please us. I was so impressed by their professionalism and dedication to getting the job done. We are considering other work to be done and would never call anyone else.

 + 1 moreI live in an 1860's brownstone and my interior bannister was falling apart. I was looking for someone to restore it and saw an ad in the Brooklyn Paper for Cee Dee Professional Contractor. It had a picture of a stair case so I thought I would give them a call.Demetrius, the owner of the company, came over to look at the job and gave me an estimate (came within 2 days of talking on the phone). He was very precise - measuring the bannister, writing everything down, asking me about my expectations, etc. I wanted a reference and he was concerned about giving out other people's phone numbers. However, he called several of his clients from his phone and I left a message. One of them, a woman in Park Slope who had a brownstone of similar era and had used Demetrius extensively, called me back that evening and raved about him. Though I had a lower estimate from my handyman, I felt the job needed a degree of expertise and decided to go with Cee Dee. They began the next week and were, in a word, wonderful. The two workers that Demetrius brought with him, Nigel and Mosley, were so professional and hard working (and sweet with my kids :). They got the job done a week earlier than expected and they went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased with the outcome. Overall, I feel like my money was very well spent. My bannister is totally restored and looks great. While they were there, Demetrius also installed some bathroom fixtures (vanity, sink, faucet, cabinets) for me and did a wonderful job.
