BLINDTEK DESIGNER SYSTEMS

The rep from Blindtek came to the job site, met the client, measured the windows, made suggestions as to ways of operating the curtains (motorized vs manual, magnet-stopped accordion shades, types of drapery hardware, etc.) and left. I received a proposal via email - and after discussion with my client, we accepted it and made a deposit. I shopped and selected drapery fabrics, purchased them independently, and had them shipped directly to their facility. I had received samples of the fabrics we had discussed on-site for the Solar Veil Blinds (via fedex) - and we confirmed that we still liked our choices. 6 weeks later the items were all delivered and installed. We had ultimately decided to add narrow blinds in the individual window panels in one of the room that were manually operated from either the top or the bottom but had no wires/cables since they stopped with magnets to hold them in position. My client loved them and was so very happy. After a month or so, when a roman shade (fabric+blackout) was proving too heavy for the client to operate manually, Blindtek came and installed a motor to raise and lower it very promptly at a nominal charge. My client was again very happy. There was at least one other issue that cropped up that Blindtek responded too immediately - and my client was very happy. So, I was very happy that any problem was quickly resolved - and to my client's satisfaction.

Working with Blindtek is very easy. Their representative and installers are in NYC daily making them very accessible. David is very quick to respond to inquiries and thorough in questioning to ensure the customer gets what they want. Tom is also very considerate at the office. The workroom constructed high quality shades. Installation was very easy with Walter. The estimate was accurate and the work was completed on time. Blindtek is courteous and professional with a quality product. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.
