Ken Lanier was professional, and pleasant to work with, from start to finish. Installation of everything went smoothly, and all lights are working well. The estimate of the job was very reasonable, with no hidden costs. All questions I asked him, were answered intelligently and clearly. If I asked for anything that may incur additional work and cost, Ken would let me know up front, prior to execution of work. Would definitely hire again.

One of the co-owners of Advanced Electrical (Ken) came out to inspect a short in the house that kept tripping one of our circuit breakers. He was able to find the problem after going through a check list for possible causes of the short. He took his time to explain all the steps he was taking to find the issue and even gave a few tips on detecting and fixing simple electrical problems. A week later I had Ken come back to install two outdoor outlets, run wire for a new security light and replace two other security lights. As expected Ken was super professional and was able to explain the process as he was doing the job. I am usually skeptical when it comes to hiring a new electrician, contractor, etc... Ken put eased those fears as he was absolutely professional and ready to answer any question we had for him. If you need an electrician Advanced Electrical and Ken is the company to hire. We will use him again and be sure to recommend him to all of our friends.

Fantastic! Ken was very knowledgeable, our home is an old home with old cloth covered wires in very old boxes...he was informative and careful, explained what the problem was and what he was doing, and resolved the issue competently and efficiently. When he quoted the price, he let me know that it could be more expensive depending on what the issue was--but since he found the issue simple, he charged the price quoted over the phone...I call that under-promising and over-delivering, which I appreciate, very professional. I will definitely use again in the future and highly recommend.

Ken was responsive, spent a generous amount of time with me explaining the work,k and produced a written estimate by the next day. We need to get a loan to do the work and look forward to working with Ken.

I had a very good experience with Ken. He came at the appointed time, quickly assessed how to resolve my electrical problem, and fixed the issue on the spot. Before working on the project, Ken gave me a price for the job, clearly stating the cost of each service. Ken was very neat, efficient, and communicative; when he finished the job he carefully explained exactly what he did and showed me how the outlet worked. On top of that, Ken is personable, good-humored, and friendly! What more could you ask for?

As to price, he was very reasonable. He patiently explained our options from least to most expensive. He was fastidious, patient, intelligent, and exuded integrity. We are extremely pleased with him and with his work, and would definitely hire him again.

Ken came the same day that I called and checked the circuit breaker. The breakers for the outlet were defective so he went to his car and got what was needed to replace them. Very nice person, professional and knowledgeable.

Ken scheduled the inspection and service conveniently for both my tenant and myself. He explained the cause of the problems and suggested the best, most cost-effective solution. He replaced the panel in a professional manner and I have not heard any complaints from my tenant ever since!

The electrician, Kenneth, was there on the time he said he would be. He was very professional and explained the work that was needed for us to understand. He completed the work and he cleaned up anything that he made dirty. He left the area clean and tidy. It was a pleasure working with him and I would hire him again if anything else is needed. Ken was available and came over within a few hours and figured out what the problem was. He was able to fix part of it right away, and the rest after we got a necessary part. It was easy to reach him and schedule the second visit. He was running a little bit late and had the courtesy to call and let us know. He works quickly and is cheerful and friendly. First Ken came in to our house to explore what needed to be done. He gave us a couple of options, and after discussiing with him pro and con and the cost of each option, we decided to replace the lights. He bought the new lights (brackets and light bulbs) and returned a few days later and installed them. They are the newest energy efficient lights and they are great. We'd definitely recommend him and would hire again.

As always, Ken found ways to minimize the invasiveness and cost of the work. Everything that could be tested was in working order before he left. When the dryer was later installed, and it turned out that its wiring wasn't what I'd thought, Ken came back immediately and adjusted the dryer's wiring to work with the outlet he had installed. He's a skilled problem-solver and a good guy to boot.

We were completely satisfied with all the work done. Ken explained what needed to be done and gave us a fair price for the work involved.

Site says free estimate, the man on the phone told me it would be a $285.00 to find the problem. That's an estimate right? They have to find the problem in order to give me an estimate dont they? Its just a disingenuous gimmick.

Ken arrived within the towels that he said and on a Sunday (awesome), he was polite, knowledgeable and fast.

He was very professional and knowledgeable. I asked a thousand questions and he answered them in a way I could understand them and I have to tell you he was very patient. He came several times since it was a lot of work to be done and he always showed up in a timely manner. He was very pleasant to work with and he even called me two weeks after finishing his work to asked if everything was okay and to call him if I had any concern. I will definitely use him again and I will recommend him also.

We supplied the light switch and lampholder so we were charged a flat charge for each job. Kenneth installed the new light switch in the hallway which cost $100. and installed the porcelain lampholder with chain in the boiler room, and this job cost $100. Both jobs were a success and we finally had light! Kenneth was very professional, punctual, and polite. He was thorough, took his time, and made sure the electrical work was done properly. He even gave us a 45 day guarantee on his work!

Did the work the same day I called. Arrived on time and was able to give me an estimate over the phone. Would hire him again.
