They installed a new sink and facets. They also installed two water heaters. They were willing to come during the weekend as well. It did not take long to get an appointment. I had an on demand water heater that someone else installed and we have been having problem with it. We were not getting any hot water and they realize that the system never should have been installed because there is not enough gas coming into the house. A lot of people would not figure that out. One time a guy spend an hour fixing something that was not working but it was not his fault. I appreciated that because he went above and beyond.

I wish I had gotten their names, but I didn't. Service was provided by two guys, one younger, one older. They performed the job quickly, professionally and politely. They were very friendly, and chit-chatted with each other and with me the whole time. I generally tried to stay out of their way, unless asked to help with something, but I wanted to see what they were doing and how it all went together. They readily and politely answered my questions about why things were done certain ways, or the design of the heater, or the materials they used. For example, the younger guy banged an elbow joint together, no grease, no tape, no nothing like that, so I asked how it sealed. He had another in his pocket and showed me the inside of the joint which had a built in gasket and little directional "teeth" like a porcupine quill. The older gentleman was doing a threaded joint with something that looked like dental floss, so I asked him about that, and he was explaining it to me, and how it was the older thing from before teflon tape. Overall review... they were highly efficient, very professional, friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend them, and wouldn't hesitate to call them again when I need a plumber! A&N, if/when you read this, please pass along high praise to the two gentlemen who performed this job.

It cost about $50 to $75 more than others had quoted but could not do same day service. It was worth the extra cost which I thought was great since they did it the same day.

Wonderful people to work with. They are reliable, punctual, and help with recurring issues to make sure the problem is resolved. We will definitely use them again!

Plumber arrived same day that I called. Was up front about the costs and first tried a less expensive solution. When that did not work he replaced the entire flushometer.

The guys were on time, extremely professional, and completed an extremely neat piping job. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

I have used them several times over the last few years. I live in a co-op, and they do work for our building, but I have also used them personally. They repaired a leak in the basement by replacing all the piping.

A and N provided excellent service. They were clean, professional and on time. I even had a concern about the placement of the radiator after installation and they came out the next day to make an adjustment. I will definitely use them again!

I called to have them evaluate water leak that was coming from ceiling. They scheduled right away, were right on time, the plumber did a careful evaluation and then actually advised that we NOT do the more expensive option of opening up the ceiling for the time-being. Then he called after and said that there was no charge for the visit. I feel pretty sure that we will ultimately need to do something with the leak, but to find a professional that advised that we give it some more time before we did the more expensive work AND did this evaluation at his expense and time, is unheard of nowadays. I will absolutely be using this business in the future and would recommend to others.

Couple of technicians had come to diagnose two issues: - Leaking union in hot water black pipe - replace leaking shower floor pan The technicians were very nice and even discussed several options for fixing the shower floor. I finally got a quote only for fixing the pipe and not for the shower. Which I took as the technicians didn't feel comfortable providing as even when looking at it, they were more like its expensive, you don't want to do it etc. I couldn't get the work done due some challenges and then winter set in and decided to postpone. Recently called and also emailed in response to their original email quote asking that I am interested in getting the job done immediately, will they be willing to honor to original quote. Received the abrupt call a day later. I was looking for a regular plumbing contact and was hoping they turn out to be the one, given the great reviews but not sure after such a refusal.

Everything seems to be working fine now- however they did a poor job cleaning up after. Debris left in bathroom, black marks and scuffs on bathtub and extra adhesive on tiles and floor. More expensive than I thought it would be..

A worker came over and replaced the broken pipe and turned my water back on. He was polite, pleasant and got the job done. I will certainly call Aand N Plumbing if the need arises in the future.

The plumber showed up on time (actually, he was early) on the morning we'd arranged. He was very friendly and got right down to figuring out the problem. The first try didn't work, cause the clog was so bad, so he moved on to and quot;Plan B,and quot; as he called it, using a more powerful snake. It worked. and quot;Plan B always works,and quot; he said, smiling. And that was that. Very pleasant, professional guy, who did a great job.

These guys are simply the best. I've already reviewed them for prior work but they do such a good job I'm taking the time to post another. First, they show up EARLY, not late. Second, they actually care if the valve is tight, the water flows through flexible hoses, the steam is venting correctly, etc... this is so huge. I've dealt with only one other contractor who cared about the big picture. Anyway, A&N people are SMART. I see the reviews that say they are slightly overpriced with the "B" rating, but they are not. They are worth it. They solve your problems, tackle every job, and are honest people I cannot recommend them highly enough.

They were prompt, courteous and did a good job.

Nick was very helpful when I called him about a burst frozen pipe outside my home. He helped me locate the valve to shut off the pipe over the phone, which took care of the water leak. He then send around his crew later in the day. Expensive - but then aren't all plumbers?

I should have refused that price estimate and gone to someone else on the list. since i desparately wanted the leak fixed, I didn't.

Nick answered the call, asked what was wrong and once he heard the problem told me how to fix it myself! He answered all my questions, gave me directions to repair the issue (the tub diverter wasn't fully diverting water from tub spout to shower head) and told me to call back with questions or issues. One would be silly not to use these guys!!!

My initial call was for the leak that appeared in the basement and th replacement of a faucet that had been failing for some time. My initial call was after standard business hours and I did not expect to hear from them until the next day. I received a call within thirty minutes and they agreed to come the next day. The gentleman that arrived was on time, professional and courteous. After performing an inspection he carefully esplained that it was difficult to determine where the leak was coming from and presented me with options for further investigation some of whhich would require punching holes in drywall which he would not be replacing. We did punch the holes which later did prove useful in identifying the cause of the leak which was later solved by the refrigerator repair person. During this same call a kitchen faucet was also replaced using a faucet I had purchased online. Unfortunately a key part of this new faucet was defective. However, the plumber did his best and went far above and beyond trying to compensate for the defective part and make the faucet work. He did have some success for the faucet did work for a short time. Eventually he did come back and replace the defective faucet with a new one I bought from a store. I called them again when a long standing issue that I had with my on-demand hot water heater finally came to a head. When I called the gentlemen I spoke with explained that he did not have a lot of experience with this type of water heater but he would come and take a look free of charge and see if he could do anything for me. I greatly appreciated his candor and honesty in admitting his potential limitations. When he and his colleague arrived they were able to immediately diagnose the problem. Unfortunately for me it could only be remedied by replacing the on-demand water heater with two standard water tanks. A few days later I received his proposal that included the price for parts and labor. The price was quite reasonable so I contacted them, we set a date for the following week and they told me what I needed to do to prepare for the work. On the scheduled day they arrived on time with all of the necessary equipment. They completed the work in one day although they originally thought it would take two. This was fantastic since it meant we were without water for only half a day. To date I have not had any issues with any of the work they have done. I consider A and N Plumbing and quot;my plumberand quot; and would highly recommend them to family and friends.

I was impressed with Aand N Plumbing right from the start. My initial call was promptly returned and time was scheduled to assess the work on the following day. Aand N showed up on time the next day, scoped out the work, and called me back with a price quote. We then setup an appointment to have the work performed. Nick along with his assistant showed up at the scheduled date and time to perform the work. Nick clearly explained the details of the work that they would perform. Both Nick and his assistant were very polite and left each area in which they worked spotless. They completed the work in approximately 2.5 hours to my complete satisfaction. I give Aand N praises for their customer service, the high quality of the work performed, and the fair price that they charged. Aand N Plumbing works like a well-oiled machine and delivers old fashioned quality customer service that's hard to come by in any industry, let alone the plumbing business. Nick -- Thank you for fixing our gas piping problem. We were able to take delivery of our new stove today and all went well.

I like A and N Plumbing. I thought they were very good. I'll use them again. They came to give us an estimate within 1 or 2 days. They had to order the unit that they put in but they installed it within a week. They did an excellent job. They were courteous and on time. They responded quickly. They explained why they couldn't put it in tomorrow, that they had to order it. They seemed professional. They did the work well and quickly.

Service was great. They arrived promptly, surveyed the problems, gave me an estimate, fixed everything and cleaned up. Highly recommend.

Toilet had been fixed at least two or three times in last two years. The person who came pointed out that the wrong part was used. He found the correct part (it's an old toilet) came back and fixed it. This was earlier in the year. Unfortunately, recently my father tells me the toilet is running again.

As with my two previous experiences with A&N -- top notch. In this case, we had a 100-year-old sink-drain pipe start leaking in the basement. I called on Saturday, and they showed up on the next Monday, as we hoped. They fixed it on the spot.

Aand N (Anthony and Nick) know they're well-rated on Angie's list. They do not try to sell themselves. I am not familiar with plumbers' charges; theirs seemed high ($175 plus cost of the part and tax), but not terrible. The situation was urgent; they ARE well-rated, and they know their business. (A special certificate was needed to work in the building...I confirmed with the board, at Aand N's request). They understood what was needed, acted promptly, arrived on time, were polite and professional, worked efficiently, and fixed the leak. I was happy. Only one caveat re: the repair...the lever that turns on the water now goes in the opposite direction. That was pointed out to me by the plumber, but I do not know the reason. He just said it works that way.
