Anthony responded to my initial inquiry immediately. He arrived for the estimate and subsequent job at the time established. Anthony assessed the situation, identified one possible difficulty, and confirmed the details of the service (time to complete the job, cost, number of workers, and his responsibilities). He was quite willing to arrange the work around my schedule. He and his assistant were courteous, respectful, efficient, and neat. Before they began the job, they conferred with each other, developed a plan, and completed the job in a timely manner. Anthony also alerted me to a possible danger regarding the water temperature in my building. I was very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to call them for future jobs.

They showed up exactly on time and were courteous. They took a look and quickly went to work. When they ran into a problem as they were finishing, they stayed to make sure it was done correctly. Even tried to clean up afterwards as best they could.

A and N Repair came soon after I called and was a nice guy. He got right down to the job at hand and did a good job. Taping the pipes was a good idea. I have used him before and would recommend him to others.

Tuesday, I called Anthony and left a message at the 718 phone number and within 10 minutes he called me back. I tried to explain in as much detail as possible what the problem was and he suggested some things that I try out before he made a visit. I tried them out and they didn't work (only because the valves were so old). I called him back on Wed. and he was able to schedule the visit for that Friday. Unfortunately, the building that I live in couldn't turn off the water that day, so we re-scheduled for the following Wednesday. He called on Tuesday afternoon to confirm our appointment; he and his assistant, John, showed up promptly at 8:30am as we had agreed to. He checked the leaks and since the water wasn't being turned off until 9am, changed the faucet in my best friend's apartment instead of waiting around. He was done at 10am and only left after the water was turned back on (around 10:35am). It was such a pleasure to work with them!

They did a great job. Arrived on time, had all materials on site. Removed the old water heater quickly cleanly, and installed the new one. They cleaned up the area and tested the flue pipe to check for leaks. Then they put the old water heater and associated junk out so it could be removed. All workers were polite and courteous.

I bought a dishwasher, and I initially paid that company to have their installers install it for $325. My co-op requires a plumier for all plumbing related installations, so I had to cancel with their installers. I left a message for Anthony on Monday at his (718) number. He called me later that day on his cell, I explained what I needed, and he told me it would cost $225 to do the job, $325 for removal (city charges him a fee). My co-op required a certificate of insurance naming myself, the co-op, and management company as additionally insured. His insurance company charged a total of $75 for that, which is less than other companies charge. Anthony handled the insurance paperwork quickly, and we scheduled the install for Thursday of the same week. Anthony came to do the install on Thursday, and had it completed in one hour. He was very neat and professional, and best of all he was cheaper than the other company!

They were very prompt and tackled a difficult job for exactly the price they quoted.

Anthony was very polite and professional. Came over same day, was very neat, courteous and knowledgeable. Upon completion he cleaned up any mess made during repairs. Would high;y recommend.

Anthony showed up at 7:30, as promised, and I explained the problem to him. I'd had ConEd come in the Sunday before because I smelled gas near the boiler room, which is across from the washer/dryer. ConEd checked the boiler and found nothing, and then checked the washer/dryer, which is a stackable, where they got a reading. They didn't want to pull it out and risk damaging any water pipes, so they suggested I get a plumber. Anthony and his assistant pulled the dryer out, determined the gas leak was coming from the connector, and called the boss to get a price. I was quoted $150, which I thought was more than fair for the visit, the part, and the labor. He was done by 8. Having just purchased my home, I haven't yet developed a network of service companies, but A and N will definitely be my plumbers from now on and I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

Anthony was on time - which I really appreciated - and brought an assistant (good idea!) as he anticipated having to remove a clothes washer from my kitchen in order to change the hoses. When he found out he couldn't remove the washer, he and his assistant put it back and instead replaced the washer that had come loose in a bathroom faucet. My only regret was not asking him to replace the hot water faucet washer while he was there.

I have used Anthony from A and N several times. He is available on fairly short notice, arrives promptly, and performs quality work. He recommended a supplier and then facilitated delivery of the product when there was a delay. I recommend him highly.

The whole crew were great. They arrived when they said they would, did a great job, and kept everything neat. The price was comparable to other estimates I got, even a little towards the low side. However, the quality of the work was outstanding. I will definitely call them again for anything else I may need.

They were neat, clean and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised how nicely they cut a whole in the cabana to bring in the shower head and handles for hot and cold water. I did not even know they were around that day until they said they were finished.
