Description of Work: I have had Petro home oil delivery for years and have paid for a service contract that has only increased in price year after year. In 2014 I had an oil leak on my exterior oil tank and I received 3 quotes, one of which from Petro, the company I have been using all these years and they were the most expensive, by far, for tank replacement. The straw that broke the camels back for me was when I received my renewal contract for my oil burner service. It was $452 for a year, where all they do is change the oil filter and nozzle! That price was increased from last year. I have a pellet stove that I use throughout the winter to heat the main living area of my home and as such, do not need to buy a great deal of oil. When we called to complain about the service contract price they were only willing to drop price $50... Then said they would charge me what I paid for it in 2013, which was approx $270... I have neighbors who use them and pay $100 for a service contract... Which is more like it and what I was willing to pay. They also delivered oil to my house in Sept for the low low price of $3.19 a gallon... When we tried to cancel automatic delivery the customer service rep was very nasty and unprofessional! I'm choosing to go COD for $1.69 a gallon and call in a HVAC tech to service my boiler with the savings I will garner.

Description of Work: Petro has been a very good provider. we had one very bad experience with a customer supervisor. he was obnoxious and arrogant. he finally reimbursed us after I sent him an email I was going to send a letter to a higher supervisor. hopefully he is no longer there.
