Northeast Quartz

The Granite "Solaris" Notheast Quartz had in stock did not look anythimg like the samples we selected in the Home Depot store. Their slabs were mostly brown verus the whites and yellows we were expecting. So we went to the regional supplier, MSI in NJ and selected a totally different one of a kind slab we liked very much. Northeast Quartz ordered that slab for us, at no additional cost upgrade. The stone had some very unique coloring that we really want in our kitchen. When the slab arrived in the local NE Quartz factory we visited them and showed them exactly which parts of the stone we wanted for each of our three countertop sections marking the stone with a marker. Instead of telling us we need to buy more stone to have it cut the way we wanted, They let us believe our markings would be what we were going to get. They totally ignored our request. Thay cut off some of the best looking features of the stone coloration, which I can only assume they sold to somebody else. To make matters worse once the counter tops were deliverd it was apparent they cut the back splashes from the front edge of each piece of stone instead of the back edge where they would be mounted creating a miss matched appearence. The only good thing I can say is that each piece was messured accuratly and fit very well.

We ordered our granite countertop from Home Depot with positive feedback from the Kitchen specialist there. He told us that Northeast Quartz would call us to schedule date for measurement and then follow-up date for installation. Everything went smoothly - from the man who came to measure to the people on the phone to schedule dates to the actual installation. All very professional and we are very happy with our countertop. Northeast Quartz also called after installation to make sure we were happy with everything.

He was very honest. We were at a push to get this kitchen done. And we called them and they put a real rush on it - they couldn't get the material. He called and said we could come and pick something else, so we picked a piece and he said they will work overtime and they did. He called me and said they sink came in damaged and then the manager called me back and he said it wasn't really damaged. What happened was that they I had a double bowl sink with a big sink on the right and it came in with a big sink on the left. It would never fit the opening that they made. He said that they shipped them the wrong sink and he would have them put it on the truck and that he would drive and get me a sink. He did it personally in his car. And then he gave me the grills that go in the bottom to keep the pipes off the sink from scratching it, he trew it in for free to apologize for the setback. I would recommend him.
