He came to my house and within a week sent me a landscaping plan. He came a 2nd time and we reviewed an made changes in the plan. He then worked here for 4 days to create beautiful landscaping at my house

I purchased the big deal. They arrived on time. They offered multiple suggestions on the design and which plants to get. They educated me on the whole process. The design arrived in my inbox in less than a week and was very detailed. I would recommend them again.

I had contacted with them during the spring time. Did not have contact with them during the summer. I received an email today saying they could not fulfill the design until at least February 2013. I decided to request a refund.

Chris Perrone came out a couple of weeks later and took pictures and talked to us about what we liked and didn't like with the current landscaping. He said that it would be a couple of weeks before he would have anything ready.On April 18 we received an e-mail " Due to the popularity of the Angie’s List Big Deal, we are running slightly behind schedule on the completion of your landscape design. We ask that you please be patient with this process as we want to ensure the design presented to you is quality work completed with the care each landscape deserves. If you are concerned, please feel free to contact our office for a more precise deadline of when you will receive your assessment. "I e-mailed Chris on July 28 to ask if/when we would have results.The e-mail bounced back "Delivery failed". We were excited to hear his recommendations, but when we did not get any kind of response I can only think that we were scammed.

Overall it was/ is a disaster. I have not been able to get in touch with Chris, emails keep bouncing back to me, no one ever picks up a phone or returns a call. I have never received the concept design which I paid for. Glad it was only $99 Design not a few thousand dollars of actual landscape work that I got gipped on.

I left a voice mail to return my call and no one has gotten back to me. He was really nice when he came over, but unfortunately the work wasn't done and the company was not responding.

No service provided. Called on Friday 5/4 and left a voice message. It's Tues. 5/8, no return call. This company must not be accepting new clients.

From finding him on Angie's List to final work it was not a difficult process. He spent a rgeat deal of time talking with us and doing an estiamte. The work was done in approximately the time indicated (weather permitting). He really knows his plants! In creating the vegetable garden, he really did a great job in moving existing plantings acarefully so that they survived. He also created a great fence.

Very disappointed. After spending an hour with Chris, and canceling my service with my existing landscaper, I never heard back. I left 3 messages so I could get the pricing and their design plans but received no answer. It has been over a month and I was committed design options and pricing plus pricing for organic maintenance within a week via email. None of this was ever received. I am very disappointed in the fact that they did not even have the courtesy to return my calls and tell me they were not interested. I ended up reverting back to my existing landscaper and chemical treatments.

We bought this house in 2009 and it came with very detailed plantings of shrubs that we didn't really like, nor did we want to keep them up in the wonderfully meticulous manner of the previous owner. We decided to restore the property to it's original condition, or thereabouts, and it took a while to find someone willing to hear this idea and work with it. Chris was the perfect fit. He not only heard our ideas, but appreciated what we were trying to do. He came over to walk around and talk about what we liked and didn't like, and then made an extremely helpful computer model of the property which illustrated his ideas for the transformation. He was always open to our ideas and our preferences for one plant over another, and talked with us openly about what works and what doesn't. He was flexible not only with our ideas but also as the job went along and he discovered more about the property, the soil, etc. Chris was up front and straightforward throughout and we felt completely comfortable working with him. He and his crew removed most of what was here, moved some things around, and brought in and planted as we agreed. They also transplanted a young tree from the back of our property, and were careful to find a good spot for it in the new "design." The work was completed within just a few weeks, and the cost ended up a bit less than the original quote. Everything was clearly itemized and there was never a question about the fees. We can hardly wait for spring to see how it all fills in, but even now we are so happy with how it all looks and feels! Thanks to the folks who posted reviews here. I found Chris because of your postings! Many many thanks.

Whew! That was hard work. We love our new patio! Chris was very helpful from start to finish and is even going to help me pick plants to put in later. The guys were hard working and kept things clean. They even help by using some of the debris to fill in a large hole we had and cover some areas for future planting. Overall a great experience!

He was a pleasure to work with. He listened to our ideas and incorporated them into the overall design. We love the results.

I have told the story of our perennial garden from start to finish in a previous Angie's report. Our garden is an ongoing work with new additions being made by Chris each year. For the past two years we have had Chris add a vegetable garden that provides organic food for us throughout the Spring and Summer, and into the Fall. There is nothing like having three varieties of lettuce, spinach, Swiss chard, carrots, beets, broccoli, sweet pea pods, green beans, five varieties of tomato, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, cantaloupe, and various herbs growing in ones very own garden. Without Chris this would not be possible. We appreciate all of his hard work and would recommend him for all of your landscaping needs.

I contacted Chris via email and received an immediate response. After the initial contact, I did have to email and phone him. He gave me an estimate, and again I had to contact him via phone. Once the work was started, it went very well and quickly. The problem came at the end. He did not come back when promised, more emails and phone calls, but even with that, I would use him again! He is worth the wait, the price is great, and he did finish the job with a little prompting!

The initial consultation with Chris was friendly as we discussed the project. He listened to my ideas and was able to design a plan that was just what I was looking for and more and at exactly the budget I had in mind. The project took longer than I anticipated (about a month) but in fairness, I never asked how long it would take and the end result was well worth the wait. The work is meticulous and the gardens are beautiful. I fully intend to have this company re-do by back yard next summer and I look forward to dealing with them again. I have already recommended this company to friends.

things started off well. the owner, chris showed up on time, sent me a timely layout and proposal. But, he did not show up to finalize the proposal evethough we had confirmed the time and ddate a couple of days before. he did not call or return my calls. this was supposed to be quite a large landscaping project. i am still mystified as to how it could start off so well and then he was a no show. by this time, it was too late for me dto find someone else and get a plan together to time the spring planting season. i definitely wouldd not recommend this company.

Chris came to discuss creating a garden to add color and to decrease lawn space in my front yard. He returned to rototill the area and add compost. Two days later, he returned with plants, mulch and slate to complete the job. The work done was beyond my expectations and I will be adding other flower and shrub beds in the future. I am also having him work with my lawn using organic methods.

I haven't used anybody. He was good and I liked him very much.

From the first time we met Chris and he talked about his suggestions it has been clear that he is exceedingly knowledgeable about all aspects of gardening, has wonderful ideas, and truly listens to our wishes. His initial plan included a component that was too formal for us, but as soon as we told him about our preferences he adapted the plan to reflect our wishes far better than we could have imagined. He completes his work in a timely fashion and returns phone calls. He stands by his work, and he has replaced (at no cost to us) a couple of plants that did not survive during the first years. Over the past two years we have spent a substantial amount of money on the work Chris has done, but we have a great deal to show for it. We have more work planned for him.

Our relationship with Chris at Eco Logical Landscaping, began in 2006 when we were looking for someone who could care for our lawn without the use of chemicals. After a season of excellent lawn care, we asked Chris to think about what he would do with a large wooded area in our backyard which was in need of a creative mind. Within a short time we received a colored-pencil sketch of Chris' vision for our new garden. We were astonished at his ability to envision a garden with winding paths, blooming trees, shrubs, berry patches, perennials, a stone patio, a hand-made arbor, and more. We were excited to have him begin in the Spring of 2007 and when this garden was complete we had received from Chris all that he envisioned, and more than we could ever have dreamed of. This became our place of peace. Chris is truly an exceptional artist when it comes to landscaping. He is very knowledgeable with anything having to do with a garden. Since 2007 Chris has maintained our garden and has since added to it by planting for us a vegetable garden and several fruit trees. In the summer of 2009 he added another sitting area to our back yard complete with a hand-made stone birdbath. His talent knows no end. We are very grateful to have found Chris, and would highly recommend Eco Logical Landscaping to anyone who is looking for an honest and dependable landscaper.

Chris came to see what work I need to be done. I have a slope in my backyard and their "organic" description made me think that the material they use for retaining walls is all natural. So, Chris came, took notes and promised to e-mail me a proposal / estimate in 4-5 days. 4weeks passed and I got nothing. I called and left message for him , but nobody returned my call. Don't waste your time with this company.... Their address is a P.O.Box, which I didn't know It should tell you something...

Chris is a pleasure to work with. We were very anxious about the scope of the job (very large) and the cost, but his estimate was reasonable and accurate. He is a very knowledgeable of the type of plantings that would do well on our property and methods of getting good results without using chemical fertilizers. Chris is thoughtful, patient, honest and highly competent. We plan on using him for maintenance going forward as well as future projects.

Use environmentally and child-friendly materials on my yard. I feel safe with my kids going outside. They're punctual, prices are comparable with other companies. Very friendly, nice and personable. If I have a question, they answer. Do not remember cost.
