+ -1 moreThese guys are amazing. They lifted our house three feet into the air and it sat there for a month while a new basement was dug and a new foundation poured. Since we own an old house they warned us that most of the plaster would fall when the house came down on the new foundation. We were very fortunate that the house came down, straightened up and very little of the plaster cracked and fell. This is an experience you have to live through to believe. Dawn's people were all very professional, certainly knew what they were doing and completed their part of the project right on schedule.
Description of Work: Dawn lifted our home so we could install a new foundation and a full basement. It was part of a larger renovation project.

+ -1 moreThey came twice to quote the job, both times I never heard from them again. The first time I called, well ahead of when I needed to house lifted, they sent a rep out to give me a quote. I waited for a call back with an estimate, which never came, I called and left several messages, then ultimately gave up. After a couple of months, when I was ready to move the structure, I called them again to give them another shot. The same rep came to my house, and acted like he had no recollection of ever having been to my house. He introduced himself like we were meeting for the first time, I gave him all the information again, he explained what they would do (it was like Groundhog Day), and then they ignored me again. I called several times to try to get a quote and no one ever returned my call. I wound up using Guy Davis instead and that was a great experience. I do not recommend Dawn House Movers.
