Description of Work: Installed central AC in 1600 ft. ranch. During installation I needed to get to bank but their mechanic's equipment in driveway blocked egress. "John" refused to allow me off my own property, saying "he'd been burned too many times," or something to that effect. As if it were possible to abscond with my house's AC system. Numerous inconsistencies and fabrications later, he left. Some tasks were incomplete, but AC was operative and works to this day. However, experience was a nasty one, and I couold not recommend s***** like that. I gather the company has dissolved and reformed since those days.

+ -1 moreThey estimated the job to take one day; it took two days. An attic fan was disconnected but 4-sq.-ft. vent in ceiling was left despite promise to sheetrock the hole. A year later, no fix. Before paying, I pointed out some mislocated vents; owner's response was to point out a mismatched wallpaper seam nearby (''Nyah, nyah! You're not perfect either!'' I guess that meant.) My car was blocked in the driveway by a worker's materials. I suspected it was an attempt to ensure not leave (I had errands). This was confirmed when the business's owner came by and I complained about being blocked; his reply was, ''You ever been screwed out of a job?'' THIS IS MY HOUSE!, I said. What do you imagine I'd do--hightail it out of my house and not come back to ''screw you out of a job''? The condenser unit (Rheem) started rattling this summer ('06) and no one responded to my calls to have it checked out. Price was low, but I guess I got what I paid for.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE NEAT AND CLEAN AND DID A GREAT JOB. I HAVE USED THEM FOR OTHER THINGS AS WELL. I ACTUALLY HAD THEM DO WORK ON A BOILER AND THE ARE GOING TO INSTALL MY AIR CONDITIONING.
Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED A NEW SHOWER IN MY BATHROOM, INCLUDING ALL OF THE PIPES.
