ST REMI RENOVATIONS

Description of Work: Mr. Eklund supervised other contractors in replacing the kitchen countertop and window treatments. He is a general contractor who does all work excepting plumbing and electrical work. The task consisted of installing new glass blacksplashes in the kitchen, repair the counter in the bathroom, wallpaper and paint the entire apartment. He did a special finish on the molding of a mirrored piece. He does all the work himself. His work is meticulous and all work is of the utmost quality. Mr. Eklund is completely client motivated. He would volunteer to pick out colors with us and made excellent suggestings. All work was done to specifications. After he was paid in full for his work, he called to volunteer to fix a couple of small items that he overlooked at no charge. The work was done on a newly purchased apartment at a white glove building on Park Avenue, NYC. The management inspected his work and was impressed. Being absentee owners living in Florida, we totally trusted Mr. Eklund to oversee deliveries and other matters. I have worked with other contractors before in remodeling our other homes but have been as satisfied as working with this contractor. If I need any other work performed again, I would never hesitate to use him.

Description of Work: Lewis Eklund removed and replaced a tile floor in the kitchen. The major part of the renovation included replacing a tile floor and wall tile in the bathroom. Painting was also done. General carpentry, including repair and new crown and decorative molding was performed.
