I had 2 $10 coupons. One of them I wanted to use towards the purchase of a jacket. The manager decided that the particular coupon is not applicable. On the coupon there were a few manufacturers that were excluded from the coupon. The manufacturer of the product that I was about to purchase was not on the list. When I brought it up to the manager she pointed out to another note on the coupon referring to other exclusions that were determined by any particular store. I'm pretty sure that on the spot she decided that the manufacturer of the product that I was about to purchase was suddenly an exception. The bottom line: beware of the 'coupons' and 'offers' from this store. The second coupon I had used towards the purchase of 2 items. When I returned one of them the discount from the coupon was subtracted from my refund. The excuse was that the coupon applies to the most expensive item and that was the one. My suggestion is that be careful about how you use these coupons. In some instance it's worth making separate purchases instead of buying multiple items with one receipt. The manager was more of the rude side. Sports Authority has just lost a good customer.
