Russo Electric

I needed an estimate for electrical work on a house I am in the process of purchasing. I called Mr. Russo at 8 am one morning to see when he would be available and he asked when I would be at the house. I told him I would be there at 11am the same day for a roof inspection and he said he would try to make it out despite being busy. Mr Russo arrived a few minutes before 11 and was ready to take a look at the house. I really appreciated this since I am not currently living at the home and have to set up times to be let in. He walked through the entire house and gave me what I thought was a reasonable estimate. If everything works out with the house, I will definitely be calling Russo electric to come out to do the work.

I called Mr. Russo and explained the problem. He explained how it would be fixed, gave me a ballpark figure, and then we scheduled the work. He called on the day of the appointment to ask if the men could come earlier, which was actually better for me. The men came on time and did the work efficiently. They were very courteous and answered our questions clearly. The job took under an hour to complete and there was no mess.

Russo electric did two things that most professionals in this line of work don't do. 1. They called more an hour ahead of time to let me know they were running a bit late. Thank you! 2. They cleaned up after themselves!!! Thank you! The work was completed timely and at a fair price. I will definitely use Russo again.

I left a message on a Sunday night for Mr. Russo. I called him on Monday morning to ask if he could come and check out the problem as we had no lights at all in the basement. He said he was very busy but found time to squeeze me in. We were afraid that it could be a Con Edison issue but it turned out to be an old breaker which had gone bad. Mr. Russo changed the breaker and voila! the lights came on. End of problem. This is the second time I've used Russo Electric and I'm as pleased this time as I was last time.

He told me one date and then changed it. I was not pleased. Then He did not want to give me a written estimate for the work. I told him that the numbers were a lot and I needed to show my husband the figures. He sent me a hand written amount. This was so un professional.

He seemed very very knowledgeable and capable. He offerred to come on relatively short notice because he works in the area regularly. In the meantime, I had some new airconditioning installed. The a/c company had their electrician working in my house. (The a/c company came very well recommended, and I could see that the electrician did great work.)With the permission of the a/c company, I asked the electrician to do the same job. He didn't have the time to do it all, but he did about 1/3 to 40% of it, and only charged me $350.00. It was much cheaper than this company. I would have no problem using Russo Electric in the future, just the price for this particular job was much higher.

Russo Electric was very courteous and professional with the job that they did for me. I converted a bedroom into a home office and I contracted Russo Electric to add 4 additional outlets and two light fixtures to the room. The owner came out on a Friday morning, gave me a good estimate that I agreed to and his team came the following Monday morning and was finished by 11:30 AM. The owner and the electricians were very courteous and professional and did a great job. I will gladly do business with them again.

The job went very well. After reading reviews on Angie's List, I called Mr. Russo and left a message. Within a few hours, he returned my call and we scheduled a visit. He came at the appointed time and we discussed how to solve my problem, which was that when the vacuum cleaner was used upstairs, the circuit breaker kept on tripping. We figured out that this was due to the fact that we were running a heater downstairs in the basement at the same time. Since the basement was finished, we decided that the best way to solve this problem was to install two separate lines downstairs in the basement for each of the two heaters. That would be the safer way to go, not to mention the more aesthetic since no walls or floors would have to be broken upstairs in the process of putting in separate lines for the vacuum cleaner (so that it could be used in the back bedrooms and the front living/dining area). We settled on the price and he and his two assistants, John and Alex, came two days later, to do the job. They came on time and after explaining everything to John and Alex, Mr. Russo left them. The two young men were extremely courteous and totally focused on their work. The job took about three hours and they cleaned up before they left. They also explained what they had done. I had a question for Mr. Russo a day or two later and again I left a message. He responded the next day and answered the query. I have since used the vacuum cleaner upstairs without any problem whatsoever and I have peace of mind knowing that the heaters downstairs, even if used together, will not cause a fire.

They were polite, professional, clean and I did not worry once that I was being over charged or that things would not be taken care of just as they were explained. I would def use them again and recommend them to others

Mr. Russo displayed a lack of professionalism that was surprising given his glowing reviews. I do not recommend him. There are many electricians to choose from and I suggest passing him up.

Russo Electric quoted the lowest price of the electricians whom I asked to quote on this job. The work was not urgent, but it was scheduled promptly and carried out quickly. The job was done neatly and professionally. There were no hidden surprises or costs. I am very satisfied.

I found them on Angie's List. They ran the wiring outside the house and down into the electric panel I have in my basement. They were very punctual when they came to give me the price. They did the service as scheduled and were on time. This company was also very neat, tidy and cleaned up after themselves. It was a good experience.

Mr. Russo and his workers were amazing and meticulous in everything they did. I couldn't be more pleased. Work completed within the time frame promised and Mr. Russo was honest is all recommendations offered. I would recommend Mr. Russo to anyone needing electrical work.

They were on time, the job lasted as long as he said it would. They came out and did a great job. They took care of it 1, 2, 3! Everything worked out great! The price was competitive and his was less than all of the other quotes I received. I took his card and am going to use him in the future for some lighting needs around my home.

My previous rating was done so in error. There was confusion related to the service provider. I apologize for the inconvenience; I acknowledge my mistake. Sorry for the troubles it may have caused you. Mr. Russo completed a job for me and his work completed was very good.
