Description of Work: We used DC Appliance Repair on July 2nd. He looked at the stove. He noticed the refrigerator handle was on backwards and had been glued on by a previous repair company. He looked at the refrigerator and I told him about the problem with the ice maker, he looked at the filter and it had not been screwed in all the way. And he found out nothing was wrong with the stove as the previous repair company stated. I had used them previously.

Service call was quoted $95 if they could repair the machine and reduced to $65 if they could not (if they suggested buying a new machine instead of repair). The latter was the case. He made recommendations and provided useful tips for chossing a new machine. We would call CD again for any large appliance repair.

+ -1 moreI called all afternoon and evening yesterday and this morning to reschedule because I am not feeling well. Even after all these attempts and messages, they still have not contacted me back. They should have given me the courtesy to at least call.
Description of Work: I called them to fix my dryer and set up an appointment for noon today, September 2, 2011. The dryer seems to be over heating possibly due to a build up of lint or some other issue, I am not absolutely sure.

+ -1 moreI always have Dave Evans come out and he does wonderful work around the home. When the gas was hooked up there was a lead and he came right out and fixed the leak for me. He does wonderful work and I tell everyone to use him.

Description of Work: Dishwasher--Checked and identified sources of leaks. Diagnosed reason for back flow of water from sink into the dishwasher. Suggested replacement rather than repair, given the age of the dishwasher. Refrigerator--Repaired leak of water from defrosting cycle.

It was not a choice that I made, but when he came and I saw what a wonderful job he did I was so impressed that I took his contact information and I have been referring him ever since. It was not a lot of work, but he was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great business.
Description of Work: A fuse went out on our dishwasher, so they came and replaced it. It was still under warranty though, so we didn t have to pay anything.
