Description of Work: After seeing the Angie's list offer - I contacted this provider - they were very nice and patient and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. I then contacted my regular service guys and asked them for a price. I figured if the difference was only a hundred dollars or so that I would stay with the guys I already knew. To my surprise - my regular provider's quote was just about double the price for the exact same unit! Thanks Sila and Angie's list for an excellent job at an excellent price! I highly recommend this provider.

Description of Work: They sent an excellent tech,Dennis, to assess the problem. He said we needed a new furnace, instead of a replacement outtake motor. They sent a project manager out the next day. James Hodgdon, the PM, was very punctual, professional and informative. He explained what we needed, based on the size and type of house we have and arranged for the installation the next day. The entire team was excellent and explained everything we needed to know when the job was completed. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Sila installed a high-velocity system in our 72 year old home. We had some issues with obtaining the permit and variance, but the work, once started, was exceedingly smooth. The work they did was beautiful, from the placement of the vents to the care they take in cleaning up. We spoke to several companies about installing central air in our home and Sila didn't come in as the cheapest, BUT they include things in their base price that other services don't, making them highly competitive (for the price above, our system includes a high-quality filtration system and heat pump). Sila specializes in this sort of work and I STRONGLY recommend if you're retrofitting an old house with central air and don't want to clutter house with invasive ductwork (this is VERY unintrusive). Plus the system works like a dream! We are very comfortable.

Description of Work: We love the ductless A/C unit we had installed! It works even better than we imagined, and we are very very happy with it. The only one small complaint is that the communication fell off in the middle of the project. I kept having to call Sila to see where we were in the process, and the project coordinator who had been assigned to us was nowhere to be found each time I called. The coordinator had been very friendly and helpful on the initial visit, and each of the people who came to our home to work on the job were all courteous, punctual and friendly. I just wish I didn't have to call so many times to see what the hold up was in completing the project, the whole process took longer than expected (and longer than necessary). In the end though, we are very pleased with the final product, and would recommend the company as a whole.
