Excellent work, fast installation (4.5 hours), clean, courteous, and responsive!

This is not the first time I've used them. They are prompt and seem to be efficient. Scheduling and quality was fine.

They were early. It took about 10 minutes for them to diagnose the problem (a blown fuse on the circuit board) and another 15 minutes to fix it. They also looked over the system and made recommendations for maintenance, without pressuring me to buy anything. Extremely professional and knowledgeable.

I really actually have a good air conditioning company. They used to be called the Unique Air Conditioning Company, or the Unique Company something like that, but they changed their name to Sila. I have an old house, it’s a rectangle and when you go in the front door you’re in basically you look like you’re in a front hall but basically, you’re in grade level and you go up some steps. Then you’re in the living room, the dining room and all that. Then you go up some more steps for the bedroom level. Then you up some more, some pull down stairs for the attic, so it is really old and it has radiators and everything. So, it took a long time. It used to be if you were going to put in central air that you had to go into the walls and the whole nine yards, but anyway, they called themselves the Unique Company. I called them up and they actually came and they really have two different systems. One is from the basement which goes up through the floor of the living room, the dining room, everything with vents and everything, and the other is in the attic and the little pipes go down into the ceilings of the rooms. The downstairs one, since your coming on grade that wasn’t as difficult, although, this is one of these old houses that’s really built so to go through the floor took a little doing. But the one way up, they had to carry all that stuff up all those stairs, and then the pull-down stairs to the attic, you know they look like big silver Slinky's and these huge vents that go the length of the house and then it has little vents that go down into the ceiling in all the different rooms. Unfortunately, that’s two maintenance contracts. That was a number of years ago, but they did a good job. If you ever have people asking about air conditioning in older house, retrofitting and older house, that would be a good name to give them. They’re in the Tri-State area. They come when I call. I have a service contract with them that was not cheap.

SILA charged me to even take a look. the technician didn't did not diagnose that the compressor was broken the first time. He had to come back. They charged for everything and sold me a new thermostat that I didn't need. I sunk nearly $1000 into Sila to find out that I needed to spend another $7000. Because of that I didn't give the job t Sila but to Sound Energy who did not charge to look at the compressor. I do not recommend Sila but highly recommend Sound Energy.

Everything went fine. Second time we used them for this service. Very pleased. Very impressed with the two young guys that have come. Very punctual. Represented themselves and their company very well.

In addition, when I tried to understand the evaluation, the technician was a bit hostile and impatient with my questions.

I had a coupon for $59 through Angie's List. I have two compressors, so the second one was $89, but I ended up spending $1000 because I had to replace some parts, get some refrigerant for my air conditioner, and I had got a service contract. The guy was very good. I would stay with them, I guess they're more reasonable than the people I used previously. The quality of work was good. They're a big company, they have people in their office.

Other than them showing late(5 hrs) they were very professional. They provided me a written summary before they left. I felt the service was exactly what I expected.

They do good work, the technician was even willing to explain what he was doing so I could learn about the systems in my house (helpful). They seem to charge a lot, that may be in line with other brands

The invoice was hand written and I could not read half of what they wrote. Price quoted was not the same as the work that was done.

The invoice really needs to be printed or e-mailed so it is much easier to read.

The service itself was under $100 because it was just routine maintenance and I got a special price because I did it early in the season instead of waiting until June. So, the charge was $69 plus tax, but I needed some equipment. They do a good job. I've used them before and I'll use them again. One person came out and he worked about 45 minutes. They left the area very clean. He seemed to be pretty thorough. He knew exactly what he was doing so well and he was pretty thorough.

They had a really hard time getting it right. They were really good on being responsive but then they screwed it up and it took a week for them to get it fixed. I thought they were expensive. They did come when they said they would.
