They came when they said and were very professional!

Service was provided on time and in an extremely professional manner. Service professional was very knowledgeable and courteous.

They gave me an estimate. I had to pay $100 for them to come assess the problem. The estimate they gave me was almost double the price of the company I ultimately went with. The sales person did not seem very knowledgeable about the products he sold. I asked many questions and felt I was being b.s.-ed on many of them.

The technician first explained the procedure he was going to do. Did a very good job in cleaning and maintenance and fixed the ignition problem. He also made some good suggestions. We are very satisfied with his service.

Phone inquiries are always prompt and polite; appointments are made with ease and not some ridiculous date in the far off future. The technicians are certified, competent, take the time to get it done thoroughly, correctly (under service contract they do not get paid for time and materials!) and courteously. Simply put they are the best in this area at what they do. After years of putting up with rude, incompetent, and in more than one case utterly dishonest contractors (I would dread the changeover from fall to winter as it meant the annual furnace service loomed), I am gratified and relieved that I can now simply leave it all to SILA. I would not even consider another choice for furnace and A/C work.

Serviceman, Alex, arrived promptly. He put on shoe covers and went to the basement. He was very efficient, polite and pleasant. Alex has been here before and I am very pleased with the service. I always get a followup call from the office to see how everything went. I would certainly recommend Sila Heating and A/C to everyone.

What they did was seen a customer in trouble and tried to charge me $700 to install a water supply pressure control.....price gouging! The work would have taken 1 hr or so and I bought the part For $50 and did it myself and purged all the lines in 1.5 hrs. Had they given a reasonable price they would have gotten the job and the job that followed. I ended up finding my water heater was leaking badly once i replaced the part and ended up hiring another company to replace it the next day. Do not call them if you are stuck,they will try and take advantage.

Called Sila in White Plains (Lake St.) on a Monday morning because our boiler's blowdown switch wasn't functioning properly. They got their technician to our home in less than an hour; Steve from Sila did a great job.

The whole process was flawless. Someone answered my call, directed me to appropriate office and scheduled a date for service. I took advantage of their $99 fall maintenance offer. I had a tech (Eric) arrive on time and complete the inspection and tune up of my gas furnace. He was very vigilant in his actions and wore booties to cover his shoes when walking through the house. Eric took the time to explain what he was doing and gave me helpful advice regarding my unit. True professional who takes pride in his work. I would not hesitate to call them again for any of my heating needs.

It went pretty well. The technician inspected both the inside and outside units of the cooling system, checked the temperature at return and supply air. The temperature difference is a little less than optimum, although it's still acceptable. He also pointed out a few tips that could help to isolate the cooling systems better, which could increase the cooling efficiency. Overall it's a good maintenance service. I'd use them again.

I had used them on a previous occasion with good results, so I had them back to service the air conditioner. This time was no different. The technician arrived promptly, did a good job with the tune up, and cleaned up after he had finished.

Sila has done a lot of work at our house since we purchased it 3 years ago. Our realtor recommended recommended them to install air conditioning in our 1935 home. First they installed an a/c system for our second and 3rd floors. Then we had them come back to add a/c downstairs and a new hydro air heating system for the whole house. We are very pleased with the work they did. They were professional, courteous, punctual, neat, quick, and as unobtrusive and they possibly could be considering they were usually working simultaneously in many rooms at once. We are very happy with how both the heating and air conditioning systems work. This big old house always had spots that were too warm and spots that were too cold, but now the temperature is very consistent and easy to control all year round. Sila has been very responsive on the few occasions we had a problem with the system. For instance, they were very quick to come add a vent in one room that wasn't getting enough heat free of charge. We are also pleased with the routine maintenance and check ups they have done on our heating and cooling equipment.

As always, Sila's representative was prompt and professional. The work was done quickly to find the issue and correct it. All was fully explained and within the range of estimated cost and the area was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. I have had no problems with the system since the work was done. Completely satisfied.

Our central a/c condesner unit stopped working on a Thursday evening. I called Sila the next morning and had an appointment with a technician that afternoon. The technician arrived during the appointment window and diagnosed the issue to be related to a bad fuse in the HVAC blower that was causing the circuit breaker to trip. He replaced the fuse and made sure everything was in proper working order before he left.
