Good and bad. I purchased the Angies List Deal of $69 to do a yearly tune-up/maint of my ductless A/C. The tech arrived on schedule but when seeing the system he said "Oh, this offer only covers the main outdoor unit and ONE inside unit". Well with ductless systems you usually have more than one inside A/C unit for your house (usually one in each main room). So to do the other 3 units in the house (I had 4 indoor units) it would cost me $99 per unit! (Really????) So instead of $69 it would cost me an additional $300!?! To me this is a bit of false advertising (or at a minimum poorly worded offer!) If anything, the sales person at Sila when setting up the appointment with me should have asked what type of system i had and once they knew I had a ductless ask how many units and explain this up front. I decided to just have the one unit done which they did a thorough and timely job on. I then found another company to do the rest for HALF that price! Just to be fair though. Doing the main outdoor unit and one unit for $69 is a good deal that no other company could probably match and they did a good job. But that only took care of 1/3 of my system. Just make sure you ask for details if you have a ductless system and not get the sticker shock i did.

I gave them dates and asked whether the job could be combined with furnace tune up: no response on Angies list mail system. I called them and was put through a service agent who promised to call back: he never did I visited their website and mailed a summary of my needs and that I had purchased maitenance: no reply.

I am with them for good now and I have used the provider in past.

I got into a contact with them. They were very good and on time. They were very pricey for that one. I have used them in the past for a couple of other things.

I didn’t want the expense of replacing the whole system at this time. So I opted for the very loud and faulty air movement assembly to be replaced. They did a great job and are very responsive. The only reason I gave any Bs is I didn’t get any 2nd opinions or prices. It was freezing and I had no heat. So I believe I got a fair price, but no real evidence. My bad, not theirs.

Great, they were on time, i needed some freon also, could hear the difference, much smoother running. I've used them before and will again. They do what they say they will and on time!

I contacted Sila via e-mail but never received a reply.

The provider basically did nothing to 'Tune Up' my AC. I was told that my system was OLD and I needed a new one. There was NO tune up involved in the service provided. I was quoted ~$300 to install a new thermostat. I was quoted ~$400 for a chemical rinse of my evaporator coil. Lowes did it last year for 1/2 that price. No pressure reading was given for the freon in my system but I was quoted another ~$400+ for freon. Save your money and skip the 'Inspection' of your A/C system from Sila. (NOT A TUNE UP AS ADVERTISED)

The guy from Sila Heating & Air Conditioning was great, but they tried to charge me twice as much for a boost of Freon. I went to another contractor for the Freon at a much lower cost.

Paid 60 and have never been contacted by anyone until now. I want a refund

He arrived on them. He pointed out that the capacitor needed to be changed. Otherwise I have to spend $3000+ to fix the compressor later. I wanted to keep those replaced capacitors since I wanted to confirm they were broken and wanted to check their price since I thought I was over charged($800 for 2 capacitors). But he said he cannot find them and did not give them back to me. After replacing the capacitors the A/C does not work. He said my fluorine was too much and the pressure was too much. To fix it he had to took some fluorine out. After took fluorine out he said it was a mistake and he had to pop in more fluorine and charged me $300 without weighing how much he popped in. During the diagnostic, he wanted to charge me $200 per 0.5 hours for advanced diagnostic. I refused since I told him at the very beginning that I needed more fluorine. He spent 4+ hours at my condo and did nothing diagnostic and was wasting time there. In short I got cheated.

The service technician showed up and right from the start he told my wife that we needed to do work on the system that would cost hundreds of dollars. i was not home at the time, so she called me. when i spoke to the Sila representative over the phone, i asked him if he had inspected either the inside or outside A/C components. Believe it or not, he said 'not yet'. So he was trying to up sell even before looking at the equipment. He also asked my wife to pay for the tune up service, even though it was pre-paid through Angies list.

There was an extra charge on the additional work and it ended up an additional $700. They did a good job and they came back several times to fix a few things on the unit.

Technician showed up at the front end of a 4 hour window they gave me. $ hours is a bit long and I would have been less satisfied if I had to wait around the entire 4-hour window. He came on time, completed the work in approximately one hour, was very courteous, and left.

Excellent experience with Sila. They have amazing customer service. They answered my emails quickly no matter the time of day, they were extremely responsive when we had any issue or question. The installation was unbelievably fast, and they cleaned up so nicely that I'd come home at the end of the day and not even know they had been there! The whole thing took a week, and like I said we were still living at home the whole time. Clean, prompt, professional, responsive. Excellent excellent experience. Have already recommended them to friends.

I've used them before. The work was amazing! I really liked the work they did. He came to do a 15 pt. a/c tune up, he did extra above the cost of the deal. He came again and did an overhaul on the boiler.

I purchased a yearly maintenance contract through Angie's list. The office at Sila contacted me right away, set up an appointment, called to remind me of the appointment the day before. The technician, Andrew, arrived at the early end of the time frame which I had been given. He was pleasant, professional, and seemed very thorough, explaining to me what he had done and how my maintenance contract works.

The service was very good. I was impressed with the plumber. He was very good. There was an additional cost on top of the $99 Big Deal for some hardware he had to use. The total price was $280.

It went okay but I was quite disappointed that it took so long to schedule. They didn't contact me after submitting information to Angie's List. Finally, I did get through and they were quite confused as to they thought the program had already been discontinued and then they couldn't give me an appointment until a month later. And then when that date came I got a phone call that the service man was out sick and they had to postpone an additional two weeks. So, when the service man finally did come and do the service the work seemed to go very well and he found the problem and was able to solve the problem and so we were satisfied with the results in the end but we were very unhappy with the lack of response and the great delay. My feeling was that they were substantially oversubscribed. I would appreciate getting some kind of credit or rebate under the circumstances. The service man did a good job once he was here but it really seems almost outrageous that it took that long and they didn't seem to know what they were doing and that it had been paid for. They should have contacted me much sooner and than they did. As a matter of fact they never contacted me and I had to pursue them and it took several weeks. I waited a couple of weeks and then it took another couple of weeks to even ascertain that there was a deal in place. So, I wasn't happy with the whole experience.
