They were here on time both times and they were very pleasant to work with. They do a quality job and they treated my home with respect; they’re doing a wonderful job.

I called and left a message and Peter returned the call within the afternoon. We made an appointment for Peter to come and look at the work. He showed up on time and I had the bid within 24 hours. Scheduling was very important to me as the work overlapped the holidays in November and December and the house needed to be cleared out and in order for company during those times. I also needed the job to be completed by January because i had to leave town by 1/1. After comparing bids from other painters Peter and i were able to settle on a fair price and he committed to my scheduling needs. Even though our initial contact was not long after hurricane Sandy Peter didn't miss a beat and work began shortly thereafter. Peter's workers showed up on time everyday without exception and worked quickly and quietly. They always completely cleaned up before they left which was very important to me. Communication was effortless. If i needed to speak with Peter i was always able to get in touch with him in a timely way. The quality of painting and work was great and as my comfort level increased I added more work to the original list. Some of the work was exterior and even though we had almost constant bad weather and cold temperatures they were able to finish on schedule. When the weather was good several additional workers would show up. I was very happily surprised that despite the weather they finished before the scheduled completion date. Peter and his crew were polite, professional and flexible without exception throughout and they completed what could only called a complex and difficult job without a hitch. They made my work so much easier and I would not hesitate to work with Peter again and I am sure that I will. I can 100% recommend P&M Painters.

Peter was a pleasure to deal with, as was everyone in the office. They were very professional, prompt, and most of all did an immaculate and beautiful job. I never even met with them since we were arranging this long distance while in the process of buying a new home but they were about the easiest and most trouble free of all the contractors we dealt with. The paint job is really well done. Will definitely call again to paint the other rooms as we get to them.

Pete was prompt and professional and easy to deal with. He got the job done much sooner than I had anticipated. Overall, I was quite pleased with the final outcome and the quality of the work.

Peter came to do an estimate for a whole house exterior painting job. My exterior paint started chipping after Sandy and I was worried about wood siding damage. He went above and beyond in explaining the work and pros and cons of doing the job now versus later in the spring. He was professional and honest. I appreciate his trustworthiness.

There was originally some confusion as to scheduling and completion of the job, i.e. Pete changed plans without discussing with me in advance. Aside from that everything else went exceptionally well. Manny and Eric were SUPER! What I liked especially about this company is that when the work was completed a few days later Manny came by to see how everything looked. The minor problems that were identified was immediately addressed the next day. This company's responsiveness was quite impressive.

P&M was prompt with the estimate, follow through, and executing the job. The office staff is responsive, P&M is good with follow up and kept me apprised of the progress. P&M was flexible with their start date when the flooring contractor took a little longer then expected. They finished the paint job a few days early, which was helpful putting me back on track for moving as scheduled. They prepped the house well, there were no spills or issues with our floors. I would reccomend, and use again in the future.

I had a wonderful experience working with Pete and his team. This is the first time I have hired painters before and Pete put me at ease through the process. Pete gave a professional and reasonable estimate and answered all of my questions. I was not able to be home during the painting, so Pete was great about calling and giving updates. They took care of everything from moving the furniture and protecting the hardwood floors. P&M was even able to complete the project a week earlier than originally planned!

Working with Peter was a wonderful experience! He came to our house for a Saturday consultation and we knew we were in good hands. He provided a fair price for painting about a 2,500 square foot house. He used high-quality paints, gave advice on color (which we really appreciated!!!), was very responsive throughout the project, and finished on time. His staff was also very clean and took great care to protect our newly finished floors. We will definitely use him for any future painting projects!

I would highly recommend Pete and when the time comes to paint other properties, we will definitely be turning to him again. We called Pete for an estimate, based on his high reviews here. And hired him because he gave us the lowest bid, was extremely responsive, and just an all- around nice and trust-worthy guy. The project took 5 days and finished on time. Pete called several times during the week to give us updates on progress and make sure we were satisfied with the work in progress. Pete's team of painters were polite, flexible, and cleaned up along the way. Most importantly, we love the final product!

They were very nice, informative, they guarantee their work, and I think they were great. I will give A's down the line except for punctuality.

All work was performed as stated at the appointed time. The painters did not come one day because of rain, but otherwise the job was completed in approximately seven days by two friendly gentlemen who understood and spoke good English. What was most amazing to me was the neatness and politeness of the workers. Bushes and other flowers close to the house were covered or otherwise temporarily tied back as to not be harmed by any paint spills. In fact, no paint spills were in evidence! Bottom Line: My house looks like new and the transition was painless!

Peter was very accomodating and came when requested for an estimate. We had significant deadlines due to moving into a new home from out of town and Peter and his crew met all deadlines with incredible quality. They were very helpful in coordinating with many other service providers for the numerous jobs we were completing simultaneously. They did an excellent job with the interior of the house, powerwashing our wood deck and staining it. Additionally, Peter helped us choose a color for our front doors and shutters which looks great! When we are ready for the next job at the house, we will definitely be calling Peter back without hesitation.

Placed a call to their office for an estimate and was immediately given an appointment to meet with Peter within two days. Peter and his son met with my wife to walk thru the whole house for the estimate. Our house was pretty old with a couple of additions so the moldings and celings need some work. Peter explained how he was going to remedy those issues to make it look like new. He walked around with my wife for a couple hours helping her pick out colors that matched our personal style and the style of the house. He gave us a very fair estimate and told us he could have it done within a couple weeks. My wife and i were very impressed with his crew and their workmanship. We had an issue and asked him to get the house done earlier than our original target date. He was able to put a few more men on the job to accomodate our request. We are extremely happy with the end result and would highly recommend P&M to our family and friends.

The quality of the work was high. No drips, spills, or damage. They covered the existing dark colored paint, with two or three coats where necessary. They carefully stripped off wall paper and cleaned up the drywall. Overall, given the circumstances and conditions, I was very satisfied. Peter himself is a fun character. I enjoyed interacting with him, and he manages his projects with care.

Excellent. The work was superb. House looks great. They came on time, worked hard all days, were clean, efficient, and trustworthy.The price Peter quoted, was the price I paid. I was very impressed with the job they did and have already recommended them to another person (who asked about them). I would certainly have this company come and paint the inside of my home when the time comes to have that job done.

I will gladly recommend this company to anyone. They were easy to get a hold of as their office manager 'Barb' is very responsive via email. I was able to get them out for an estimate within a few days and they were able to start with less than a week's notice. I emailed them the colors for each room and arranged for them to have access to our house (currently vacant). They were in and out in < 5 days (not sure when they actually finished - i wasn't there) and after inspection this last weekend I must say the quality is great. I haven't found any imperfections anywhere, and the problem areas i marked in pencil were all addressed (previous owner marks/dents etc). I couldn't be happier with their services and the quick turnaround was worth every penny. Thanks.

I got them off the list. They were very reasonably priced compared to some of the others I had quotes from. The price was reasonable, but I did find some slight flaws in what they did, so they are coming back hopefully to fix them up.

First, I had contacted several contractors for the job, and only a few even returned our calls. However, our experience with Peter and his team was outstanding. He contacted me via e-mail and was prompt with an estimate and detailing the work to be done. He gave us a start date and explained what he was going to do. His price was very reasonable, so my brother and I agreed to go with Peter and P and M Quality Painting. It wasn't a big job, but there were some challenges with getting up to the roof and reaching the front facade. It didn't seem to be a problem for the workers and they were able to compete that job in the 1st Day. Returned the second day and finished all the rest. They even painted our Iron gate, that was not even part of the original job. My brother and I are very pleased and will gladly refer this company to friends and Family. We were moving into a new home and needed some painting done before the furniture was moved in. Peter contacted me right away and came out to give an estimate. As we were pressed for time, he had a team of four guys come in the next day and they completed the work in 3 days. His team was friendly, courteous, and paid attention to details. My husband, who was our handyman around the house, passed away in October. He planned to do the necessary painting on the exterior and in the interior of our home but never got the opportunity. My son signed me up for Angie's list and I began to solicit contractors. I hired Peter because he was prompt, attentive, sensitive and responsive to my needs. Peter's references were very good. Understanding of my financial circumstances, Peter negotiated a price that allowed me to retain his services. Peter's workers were on time, conscientious and polite. They did a great job and cleaned their work areas meticulously which was really appreciated. When I had a minor issue, Peter arrived promptly and remedied it to my satisfaction. At one point, he actually rolled up his sleeves and did what needed to be done himself. My rooms are beautiful and the exterior looks brand new. I would not hesitate to hire Peter and his crew at P and M again and have recommended him to my daughter who is also seeking a painter. Peter and his crew are skilled painters and Peter has a big heart.

They happened to be in the neighborhood so they viewed our property. The person that came out was very kind and professional. We ultimately opted to do the work ourselves and did not use their service but I thought he was very fair in the estimate that he gave us.
