These guys are excellent. Drapes everywhere and meticulous in their clean up. Insisted on running over some of the trim as well to ensure the cleanest of lines. They take pride in their work, work quickly and efficiently and every single guy was courteous and a treat to have in the home. They finished the entire job in 2 days. Amazing for a 4700 square foot home. We also asked for some help in the end hanging a heavy 5' x 7' mirror in the great room. This has always been extremely challenging for me in the past and I always end up doing most of the prepping, but these guys knew exactly what they were doing and designed a very safe bolt and wiring system that was anchored to the studs. Centered it perfectly at the right height and gave us piece of mind that it was done properly.We are extremely detail oriented and pay attention to these things. I would recommend P&M to anyone with the strongest of recommendation. Of note, we supplied our own paint as we needed BM Natura (No VOC for our infant and toddler), but Peter can provide any paint needed at great prices. Don't look anywhere else if you need a quality, well priced painting job.

Peter responded to my phone call immediately and was over for a consultation within an hour. He went through the house with me inside and out and addressed all of my concerns by explaining to me exactly what needed to be done. The whole thing took about 45 minutes, where the other painters I called were in and out in 5 minutes and just told me everything they saw was just a stress crack and they'd take care of it. (I have an old home (1929) and regular easy fixes don't usually work for us.) Peter's estimate was e-mailed to me the next day, with all of the breakdowns in cost that I had asked him for. When I decided to go with him, he said he'd call with a start date the end of the next week. I actually received an e-mail that week confirming an earlier start date for the exterior. His men (about 4) arrived on a Monday afternoon and immediately got to work. The next day, they were at my house at 8:30am. I found them to be extremely hard-working and courteous. They always asked me if they had any concerns or questions before going forward with their work. Without my asking, they even took their shoes off before entering my house to look at the interior that they would have to paint the next day. Every day or evening, I would have a message from Peter asking me how it was going and if I had any questions. The job was done quicker than I expected and looks a lot better than I expected as well! They fixed big cracks in my stucco so that I could hardly see where they were (and they didn't even have paint to match it because I didn't know what color it was). They fixed an ugly crack I had going down my stairs and it looks great. My ceilings look great too! The only concern I had was at the very end. There were some paint splatters on my bay window and french doors, and I felt like they may have rushed to finish the job. I was able to either get rid of it with windex or by scraping my nail against it. However, when Peter came the next day, he immediately told me he'd send someone back to clean it up and that I shouldn't have to clean up their work. Honestly, it wasn't enough splatter to bother having someone come out for an hour, but it was nice that he offered. Would definitely recommend them and will use them again!

We received an estimate for each room using quality name brand paints with a cost estimate that was at the right market cost. We agreed to the job. Peter outlined exactly when the job would start, who would be in the house each day and the expected finish date. It went exactly as planned, the workers were clean, neat, courteous and knew exactly what they were doing. Peter was always available at all times. The house looks wonderful. I highly recommend this painting company!

I wish all consumers could have this wonderful experience. Peter was at my house at noon the day after I called for an estimate, and had his very reasonable estimate to me by the end of the day. His crew was punctual, polite, very good, and very clean. The job took them four days, and each day the house was so clean when I came home that you wouldn't have known they had been there. They did a wonderful job with the painting, and went above and beyond what was expected of them. John, the supervisor on the job, was not willing to let any part of the job be less than perfect, even if it resulted in more work for the crew. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area who needs to have their home painted. This was my first experience with Angie's List, and I will definitely use them for jobs in the future.

I contacted Peter and set up an appointment for the next day. He was prompt and explained what he would do as we walked through the house. His crew was available for the next week and the price seemed reasonable so we agreed to have him do the job. Over that weekend we had an unexpected storm that left us without power. Peter called on Sunday to confirm our Monday start, and when I explained we were without power he said he could bring a generator. Peter and his crew arrived on time Monday morning and he walked through the house with his crew explaining what needed to be done.They completed the job in 4 days and we were so satisfied with the work we asked them to do additional work (another ceiling with some minor cracks and to complete the painting required to cover the patches). That took another week and we couldn't be more satisfied. If you know where to look you can find the patches in the textured plaster, but you have to really know where to look. Our walls upstairs have a smoother texture and they look perfect. We had the plaster patched, the ceilings repaired and the walls all repainted quickly. They covered stairs and floors with drop cloths and we had very little to clean up after they completed the job.

Peter called me back right away. He was very nice and was very flexible about setting up a time for an estimate. He was very pleasant during the estimate made some helpful suggestions. He really took care to inspect the entire house and it was obvious he knew his stuff. He gave me a very fair price for a big job. I had a small time frame in which to have the work done, and he and his crew finished the job well before the deadline. The crew was very friendly and really took care around the house. They did a great painting job and transformed the look of the entire interior. Peter was good about regularly communicating and just a pleasant guy to deal with. I would definitely hire P & M Quality Painting again to do painting for me and highly recommend them to anyone.

A big section of drywall collapsed from one of our bedroom ceilings due to a broken pipe from the AC drainage in the attic. The size of the whole was quite significant (about 5' x 3') as drywall turned into mush because of the water damage. I contacted P&M due to its excellent ratings from Angie's list and they didn't disappoint. Peter (I believe he's the owner) came out the very next day after I called him and gave us a very decent estimate. Although they were very busy, he was nice enough to fix the ceiling on a Saturday. The work required cutting the damaged/broken drywall around the recessed light fixtures so it had to be done very carefully. They did a fantastic job and the ceiling looks good as new.

Love the colors, the painting job is flawless, clean up was good. His crew very nice. The only problem I had was that they finished about 2 to 3 days later than I was told. Other than that, very good company.

We selected three painters from Angie's list plus one additional painter to provide us proposals. We ultimately selected P & M Quality Painting, partially because we felt great confidence in Peter, and because when it was all said and done the price we were quoted fell somewhere in the middle of the highest and lowest quotes. Peter brought in, on some days, as many as five painters to work on this project. He insisted that we take care of the cause of the water damage to the wall in one of the bedrooms before completing the paint job in that room. He also made sure that areas requiring a second or third coat of paint receive them. Although Peter was not working on the job full-time himself, he had a very competent foreman, and made sure to come in every day himself to ensure a quality job. Both Peter and his foreman were easy to work with and we have no question in our minds that we will gladly use his services again in the future.

Room looks as good as new. Peter said they would finish in two days and the job was delivered right on schedule. He was also helpful in giving us advice on how to tackle other problem areas within our house on our own.

Before we called Peter, we got a quote from another painter to do half as much work for almost double what Peter's initial estimate was. Our house had three red (think "stop sign red") rooms, which required extensive prep work, and a garage with multiple holes in the walls and a garage floor covered in oil stains. Peter is a real professional - he help us with our color choices, advised us on the best way - not the most expensive way - to go about certain things and has a real eye for details. His crew was hard working, polite and cleaned up after themselves. The garage looks brand new - like it's never been used! The completed job took a little longer than expected, but it had more to do with the weather than anything on Peter's part. Would highly recommend P&M Quality Painting.

Peter responded to our request for a quote right away. He was very friendly and clearly an expert at his craft. His original quote was too high for us ($10,000) but he was able to come down when we told him we didn't want painting included, just to bring all areas to prime ($6700). He was able to give us a fair price for the amount of work. We are grateful for Peter's patience as the start date kept getting pushed back due to some unforeseen circumstances - including the former tenant not having moved out and the delay in our closing date. The quote was obtained in August 2010 and the work did not begin until December 21st. Peter accomodated us even further by allowing us to pay him in installments, as we lost some cash flow due to unanticipated moving and closing costs. The work was finally completed on January 15th. He was able to provide a small discount when we found out that the floor work in the front porch could not go as planned as there was existing laminate glued tight to the original hardwood floors. Though there was a little misunderstanding as to the work that would happen with the closet areas and trim around windows and doors, Peter gave us some tips on how to fix some areas ourselves so that we could save in labor costs and even left some extra primer for us to use where needed. Overall, Peter and his crew did a great job at a good price. If not limited by our budget, we would hire P&M Quality Painting again.

Peter's hands-on professionalism and personal service from start to finish was exceptional. Peter took his time to give a detailed estimate (which he stuck to a tee), helped us select paint colors and met with us throughout the week-long job to ensure that all was going according to plan. His crew was courteous and professional. They did a thorough job both in setup and cleanup. The work was excellent. We have an old home which requires strong craftsmanship. Peter and his team transformed the upstairs of our house and we were totally satisfied. His cost for services were not cheap, but fairly priced.

Very happy with the work. It was a very rainy and humid 2 days they were inside, and a few bubbles showed up after (as happens in such high humidity) and thay were very happy to come out the very next day and fix the few problems. peter was vey helpful with the overall job but he was willing to give me suggestions for the exterior project that would not have benefited his company had i gone that way (i didn't i painted instead of replaced) but i appreciated his honest advice.

the job spanned 2 weeks of full-time work by 2 men. it was performed on schedule, to budget, and to a high professional standard. moreover, the conduct of all the people involved in the job, from the owner of the business to his men working on site, was exemplary. p&m provides a superior service -- in the quality of its workmanship, attention to detail, reliability, and its courteous treatment of clients.

Peter and his team were very professional from start to finish. He came out within 24 hours of my call to give us an estimate and was able to start the work within a week. He stuck to his estimate and the work was excellent. His team arrived when they said they would and worked efficiently to complete the job as quickly as possible. He advised us about the best and least expensive way to approach some repair work and we were very satsified with the result. We woud definitely use Peter and his team again.

Peter was great to work with, any changes or adds were dealt with very reasonably. He and his helper did a great and very timely job. We will definitely recommend him to our friends and will definitely use him in the future.

Pete was a pleasure to work with and did an excellent job. He was responsive, timely, his prices reasonable and the work quality was outstanding. When evaluating the job for the estimate he took extra time to ensure he understood the scope of work and the time frames we required. He prepared the areas thoroughly and left the areas usable during the job. He was punctual, very personable and accommodating to our schedule. I plan to hire P&M for the next painting project in the house.

I found the company on Angie's List. Owner returned call promptly, came to see what was needed and we set a date. He and one man were here punctually. The painter covered my new floors with new paper and spent one day prepping the walls, next day and a half painting. Very meticulous. They cleaned up and left the house spotless.

The guys did a great job painiting and cleaning up once done. We are very happy with the work.

I can't say enough good things about them. They did an outrageously fabulous job. The owner did it as if he was doing it for his own home. He went way over the top, it's unbelievable. Every little thing looks so good. I had a few things that were broken and they repaired them.

Work went well and was completed in a few days with a crew of some six men. Very good personal communication and interest from owner of P & M Quality Painting. Company owner covered all the steps in the work and accommodated new work that needed to be done as the project proceeded. No hurry-up and finish the job to get to the next job. A positive contracting experience for house owner.
