Max is a terrific architect. Like many people during this quarantine, I’m thinking about building a deck for my yard. I’ve interviewed many architects and Max was by far the most responsive, thorough and patient architect. During the interviewing process, Max was the only architect who took the time to understand my project and provided advice. He also looked up my town’s code and informed me of my options. When looking for a surveyor, he took the time to speak w/ them and explain the request. I would highly recommend Max!

Max Parangi is a dedicated, experienced and amazing architect. He worked with us, listened to our needs and made our house a comfortable and beautiful place to live in. He was there every step of the way. Max has an experienced and knowlegeable office staff who are responsive and patient. Max and his office returned messages promptly and we felt taken care of by them. Also, Max developed a close relationship with our contractor and his subcontractors to guide them through each step which most architects do not do. Max made sure our contractor implemented everything correctly. Max was on our job site all the time checking in. Our contractor loved him because he answered and solved every problem the contractors ran into. Our house, in its original form, had some design flaws. Max came up with workable solutions for each of these issues. Our contractor commented that his design and technical skills are admirable. In fact, our contractor starting recommending him to his clients. We thank Max and refer him to friends and neighbors all the time! We receive a lot of compliments on our home from everyone who walks in the door. The bottom line is that Max is an honest, and friendly person and a great architect. He was our life line through this challenging renovation.

Max Parangi and his team were incredible, attentive and professional, and took a lot of time to seriously talk with us about our goals. Rather than only advising us on what was feasible, they helped us consider how we construct a personally designed space. The team actively listened to our thoughts and advised according, rather than simply presenting us with a list of generic possibilities. The firm also prepared us for what the project would entail and its staff was always accessible. The team discussed details in layperson’s terms, which kept us involved and reassured. Max was often onsite and his communication with contractors was excellent, with our contractors noting that they were always proactively advised. We also saw these communication strengths in the team’s extensive interactions with town authorities, inspectors and sub-contractors, all of whom said the firm was great. The project turned out wonderfully, giving us the extra space we needed while creating an open, modern, lighted interior that we love being in. The changes have enhanced our quality of life. From the moment I contacted Max I knew I made the right decision. He explained everything before any document was signed. His staff was very professional and at various times went out of their way to meet my needs. Max guide me through a very difficult process with my town and did his best to meet their requirements. The architect was very rude and treated me with great disrespect, attempted to slander my name which is a clear defamation of character to the Department of Building, mentioning statements that were clearly untrue and just assumptions made from an ignorant architect. The architect has a very big ego, he thinks he is better than everyone. He has a narcissistic personality disorder. Buyers beware he will milk you, the initial price he offers is designed to entice you in and hire him, he then gets you with hidden fees and will attempt to milk you dry if you allow him to. He is also very difficult to work on corrections with.
