When they finally arrived, things went well. He was good about telling me about the work he would do and showing me the pre and post state of my vents. He was curtious, put covering down so the equipment didn't touch the floors, removed his shoes as he worked throughout the house, and pointed out a few issues left to me by the previous owners of the house missed at my inspection. My issue with Lowes was the disaster with the scheduling. I believe this is a new buisness for Lowes, and you can tell. It seemed like the customer service was out of someone's house. I purchased the service through a special offer on Angie's list. I got a call the next business day to confirm the appointment. When I returned their call, they simply answered the phone "hello", not professionally. I thought I called a wrong number. Additionlly, on the day of the appointment, I called as they had not arrived during the window of time I was provided. When I called, they gave me a poor excuse that they were having problems with their phones on the day I made the appointement (only a day before). However, I told the woman that the person I spoke to repeated the information back to me so it was not the phone. They did call the technition and he was at my house within the next hour. He happened to tell me that it was suppose to be his day off, so I think it was a scheduling mistake. It was really frustrating and I think I wouldn't be so anoid with them if they would have compensated me. If you want a low price and can live with OK servcie, I think Lowes is fine. The quality of the actual work is good. Not a good first experience if they are attempting to get into this buisness.

It was the best home service I have ever had. Kevin and Nick did a professional job. They cleaned every single vent and return in the house, from the openings all the way to the furnace. I can actually feel the difference in the amount of dust in the house. The technicians were very professional and polite. Did a very thorough job. Were eager to explain every step they were doing. The dryer is drying cloth a lot faster now, since they cleaned the dryer vent. They also got a lot of soot and creosote out of my chimney, which is very dangerous. I did a thorough research before calling Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning. I checked them on a number of websites; they had a five star rating everywhere. A very reputable company, and the reality was beyond that. The scheduling went very smooth. Danielle was very nice to talk to. The technicians called me on their way to tell me they will be in 30 minutes, and they arrived right on time. They removed their shoes before entering the house. Kevin explained the entire process before starting and followed it in details. They made access holes on supply and return ducts and connected a powerful HEPA vacuum. cleaned all the vents and returns, all main ducts and trunk lines. Showed the pictures before and after cleaning. The results were fabulous. They did not leave any mess at all. Cleaned all the surfaces. They did a great job cleaning the dryer vent as well. Unlike some companies I used before, they don't clean the dryer vent with just air flow, they use a 4 inch rotating snake-brush as well, to clean it all the way from one end to the other. The service was fabulous from beginning to the end. It was Easy to schedule. Nick and Kevin arrived right on time, explained the process and got to work right away. They even removed their shoes before I asked them to do so. Two very polite and professional technicians. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the results. A thick layer of dust disappeared from the ducts. Dryer is working much better after the cleaning. They also did chimney sweep, which we haven't done for a while. Excellent service.
